Canada is just begging to be Annexed
paxamericana replied to paxamericana's topic in Canada / United States Relations
How American of them. Shockingly no, if any reneging happens, it’ll be b cause of how destitute Canadians are and if America even want to pay for 40 million people(liberals) equivalent of Mississippi -

I would advise against that line of thinking. Not unfounded but unwise. -

I find it greatly amusing that Canada would rather annex America than the other way around. Fully knowing the benefits that a Union would bring forth. How Canadian of you all. -

We wouldn’t want to come uninvited, why don’t you turn off the tap first? So we can all be clear that Canada want to be Americans. I think one of your premier Ford was it? He was real excited about doing just that. Wonder what happened? Our tanks takes jet fuel or gasoline thanks. -

You want Abram’s tank rolling into Alberta yes? Just say so Canuck. You get to be American over night. It’s a win win for America either way. -

The issue isn’t drilling, we have enough crude for our own needs. It is refining capacity. And it’s a spectrum not a do or don’t. America does refine its own oil for domestic consumption but we also refine overseas crude as well. Oil is tied to the dollar hence petrol dollar. If we want to remain being the currency reserve of the world we need to trade in oil, specifically make other countries dependent on our oil. Hopes this clears it up for you. To @Moonbox point, it’s not that simple to remain an Isolationist, though I appreciate the sentiment, it has never worked out well for us. The world goes to shit and eventually cost us more in blood and treasure to fix. Want to be left alone? It’s cheaper to prevent a bigger war with a few minor war. Hence the sacrifice Trump is making now in regards to Cuba, Venezuela and Iran. Russia, China and N Korea is next on the chopping block. That’s the roadmap to being left alone. And a quick note this is all planned to take place within our lifetime. It’s not a next century thing. If things work as planned, we should see a collapse of China by the end of this decade and Russia to follow after that by the 2050. -

You’re really wanting to be annexed forcibly huh? Don’t get too excited you’ll get your new driver licenses and passport in the mail. So don’t tempt us, we can make Venezuela and Iran look like child’s play. -

Energy trade is global. Which will affect domestic energy prices to a degree. -
For what? That the terrorist will win? I wouldn’t hold my breath on that one. Trump is making the necessary sacrifices now to avoid greater bloodshed down the road. Freedom isn’t free.

You sure about that? Everyone of America’s enemy made the same mistake high on copium.

Im your redeemer. A Shepard in the barren wasteland of the digital age. The reason they’re bad is because they think they can get away with it. It’s our public duty to prove them wrong. -

Our interest align with the Israeli nothing more. But it’s also true that they have different interest than America. To be clear. The American position is to control the flow of oil in the Middle East , we don’t actually care which despot rule the damn place. Israel on the other hand want an Iran that is no longer a threat to their security. Where we align with Israel is the removal of the current regime who has allied itself to China. It’s also with in the US interest to not have Iran gain a nuclear weapon as that would set the stage for nuclear proliferation in the region. My conjecture is that if push came to shove, we actually want Iran to destroy all the Middle East’s oil production. Which would leave only North America/ Venezuela as the predominant supplier. Russian oil is being whittled away by the Ukrainian with US help. -

Under what conditions? Have we finished destroying their nuclear capability and set the stage for a negotiated settlement where the Iranian stop attacking their neighbors? If not then why stop the war? -
