I suspect you are trying to divert the subject away from what we have been talking about to divorce. Divorce is another big subject. It is useless to got there when you still haven't accepted the facts I have pointed out already. Do you have any evidence you accept the Bible as authoritative or are you willing to accept it as such? I am not that interested in talking about homosexuality but for the fact that it seems to be a central platform of liberals and left to promote it. Therefore it is a clear proof to show they are not interested in defending a Christian civilization or nation. As far as what is a sin, I already said you can use Google. Why do you think we need to explain the obvious. I already quoted Romans ch1 which clearly shows homosexuality is opposed by God and therefore a sin. Google will point you to many parts of the Bible which show that it is a sin. Romans chapter one could not be clearer or louder.

Are you a Buddhist or a Muslim? Where did I shun the sinner or shun LGBTQ? Now you are inventing accusations. I said I believe it is contrary to the Bible. Didn't say anything about shunning, whatever that is supposed to mean.

Try Google : homosexuality and the Bible. You will find lots on it. Jesus didn't have to personally say something about it because the whole Bible is inspired by God, which means Jesus Christ wrote the Bible. It even says in places in the New Testament that he is the Word (of God). Divorce is a complicated issue. In some cases there may be good reasons why it is necessary. It is also forgivable if it is a sin. Laws need to allow for divorce because it is sometimes the only solution. I know there are churches that don't believe in divorce in any circumstance, but I can show biblically why they are wrong. But that is a whole big subject.

But I am simply pointing out that you have a contradiction in your mind if you think it is OK to believe things like LGBTQ are not seriously contrary to God's word. Liberals support abortion on demand and same-sex marriage. These things are clearly opposed by Gods' word. It is indefensible. I am not sure where you are coming from but you need to seriously reconsider your beliefs. Nobody is perfect in this world and Christians do fall into sin as well, but we need to repent and believe God's word. We need to take it seriously and not dismiss it as trivial or unimportant. When one becomes a Christian, he accepts Christ and His Word. Not just saying he believes in Christ but has no use for his word. That is illogical. Jesus and his word go together. Read the first chapter of John. Jesus is the Word made flesh.

When you use the word "moral" you should make it clear you are using it in reference to earthly standards and not God's standard. The only completely righteous or moral person that ever walked on earth was Jesus Christ because he is God. The Bible says unless one is born again by faith in Jesus Christ and his atonement for sin for the one who believes, he will not be saved or go to heaven. You obviously simply bypassed or ignored most of what I said. The proof is there that Canada and other western countries have descended into hedonism or endless sexual immorality and have been given the blessings of government, especially left wing governments like Liberals and NDP and other parties to varying extents. And you support all this. They bless same-sex unions and LGBTQ and claim it is normal and just a personal preference. They teach it to our kids in school as a normal choice. They teach them they can be a trans gender and allow young kids to choose to be the opposite sex. This is like Sodom and Gomorrah in the Bible. People who promoted this type of thing and those who support it, especially leaders bear a huge responsibility and will be held accountable by God. There will be a day of reckoning, guaranteed. Does anyone really think God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for nothing and that he will turn a blind eye to the same kind of thing in our time.

Freedom to overturn traditional values, reject traditional ideas of justice and embrace new ideas of affirmative action under the guise of enlightenment and equality for all. 5. Marxist ideas of speech control, wealth redistribution and establishing a welfare state. 6. Banning so-called "conversion therapy" which basically means removing freedom of speech from Christian counselors who would dare encourage some LGBTQ person, who may seek their help, that they should be converted and abandon their sin. Such counsel is no different that what would be given to drug addicts, alcoholics, criminals, domestic abusers, and anyone who needs to be converted and change their behavior. But it is now a crime to do so with a certain group. One who does not subscribe to these new liberal values is considered a bigot or racist or both.

One of the characteristics of Communism or Marxism is it's belief in the intervention in society to an unlimited extent. That means the Marxist or Communist system has no limits on what they can do with regard to individual citizens or citizen's rights in society if the Marxists believe they are acting in the interests of the common good (which in reality means the state or party's own interests). Ultimately this leads to the denial of personal freedoms such as freedom of speech, freedom of association, freedom of the press, freedom of religion, and freedom of beliefs. There is nothing sacred that Marxist governments cannot control or regulate. Historically, Canada and western countries were Judeo-Christian nations whose laws were based on the historic Biblical teachings such as the ten commandments. From these Judeo-Christian beliefs flowed human rights, respect for the individual, and the development of democracy since the time of the Magna Carta. In the last 50 years or so, Canada has become more of an anti-Judeo Christian nation and has adopted a multicultural stance which gives equal status to all religions or no religion. No religion is secularism which is diametrically opposed to the historic Christian belief system. Many Canadians applaud this and claim the phrase separation of church and state. The problem is Christian values such as human rights can never be separate from Judeo-Christianity because that is where human rights originated. Secularism means in theory no religion, but there cannot be any such thing because man's relationship with his fellow man always has been guided by a belief in an accountability to a higher power, i.e. to God. If you take God out of the equation, all you have left is man's reasoning or whatever man decrees as any given time as the guide for rights and laws. That is what secular humanism is. It is based purely on man's ideas. There is therefore no solid foundation for society. An example of the consequences of this multiculturalism or secular humanism are some of the rulings from the Supreme Court of Canada. Some of the rulings from the SCC to do with search and arrest have been reasonable but others rejected the historic belief in the sanctity of human life as in the abortion question. The SCC went completely against historic Judeo-Christian beliefs and the Bible when they ruled a woman's right to do what she wants with her own body is all that matters. They have rejected the unborn as human with the right to life. Then more recently they ruled that individual's have the right to choose doctor-assisted dying, again rejecting the historic Judeo-Christian belief in the sanctity of life and that nobody has the right to take another's life except in certain limited circumstances such as police work or a nation's right to defend itself in time of war and in capital punishment for murder. Why do you shill for Communism and Marxism's influence in Canada? You will know the so-called Charter of Rights and the Not Withstanding Clause was brought in by former PM PIerre Elliot Trudeau, a known Communist sympathizer, who loved to visit Communist countries and was a close friend of Fidel Castro. He shunned our traditional allies. He also made visits to Communist China and was the first western leader to give full diplomatic recognition to Communist China in 1970. Since then, Communist China has become Canada's second largest trading partner and Canada now has deep ties with China. All this happened under mainly liberal governments, with some help by blind conservative governments in the short times they were in office. You know or should know that the Supreme Court has been stacked with liberal-oriented judges and they are the ones who make the final decisions on what the Charter of Rights means in any particular case. All this means is the so-called Charter of Rights is writing on a piece of paper rights which Canadians for the most part already had and believed they were inalienable rights. Now writing them down and giving the Supreme Court the final say means we only have rights that they grant us and they can be denied or changed at the will of the liberal-dominated SCC. So essentially the state, through a liberal-appointed SCC, now decrees what rights we have and politicians like Trudeau can get up and pontificate on rights as if he is the sole arbiter of rights, when in fact, basic human rights come from God, the Biblical God of whom Trudeau does not appear to acknowledge or follow. Marxism also does not recognize or follow the Biblical God by whom all things exist and under his dominion. There is a strong similarity between the anti-God stance of liberalism and the atheist stance of Marxism. When there is no fear of God, there is tyranny and totalitarianism. That they have in common.

I have read several books on China's influence in Canada and the west and it is vast. I am not talking about a nuclear war between China/Russia and the west. A military war is not the objective. China's influence in western countries is vast and growing through various ways. They would consider that a win. What they can do through their influence and control in the rest of the world is the problem. Read the book "Hidden Hand" and read the book "Wake Up America - Unrestricted Warfare" written by a former People's Liberation Army officer. They are not looking for conventional warfare. That is not how to win. They have learned the way to get ahead is through influence, propaganda, and control of foreign politicians, former polticians, and people in powerful positions. They are experts at in. That's what unrestricted warfare means. China is not "boxed in". You are thinking in totally different terms. China's influence in the world is huge. They already have a strong influence in the UK, which has pretty well been finished. Italy and France are strongly under their influence. Both countries have said they will not be having a diplomatic boycott of the Beijing Olympics and will not be joining the US, Canada, Australia, and the UK in the boycott.

I was talking about the actual system of Capitalism. You are forced to pay into a pension you don't want because that is Socialism, not Capitalism. Bringing in older immigrants under "reunification" is an extremely costly business for Canadians and the pension plan. How is it government can force Canadians who worked all their life to pay for pensions for all the old immigrants brought in from the third world?

I don't really see where the pension plan is a ponzi scheme. Vast amounts of taxpayer money is invested to earn a return. That has nothing to do with corruption. The pensions, OAS and CPP, must be paid out to the pensioners and the more pensioners, the more money must be collected by incomes taxes. As the population ages, it costs the pension system more money and more working people must be brought into the system to pay for it. Hence, we have immigration. But the government had better be sure the immigrants they bring in are going to be working and paying income taxes. Otherwise it will be a drain on the system and just add more people who will collect pensions. There is also the medical system which takes a huge portion of government revenue to run. That too is now being stressed to the limit.

I would agree with a lot of what you say. But I don't think Capitalism is the same as Socialism in the sense of personal freedom. Socialism deprives citizens of their freedom. Socialism steals from those that have something to give to everyone else or provide social programs for everyone. Capitalism does not steal from everyone. Capitalism is a free system in the sense everyone is free to start or run their own business with little government interference. Everyone is free to work or not work if they prefer. But there is an incentive to work in Capitalism because if you work you get paid and if you don't work, you don't get paid. You will have to live on whatever the social services system gives you or depend on charitable organizations to feed you and provide shelter if that is even possible. But Capitalism provides an incentive for those with some money to invest in it to develop industries and make a profit. In Socialism there is no incentive for investors because government controls everything and reject the profit motive. In Capitalism, people with expertise make decisions about what is profitable to invest in. In Socialism government bureaucrats decide which industries should exist under government control and how everything should be run. In the USSR, that is how things were run and there were tremendous shortage of essential products and supplies. I heard of a telephone system in one of their satellite countries where it was very hard to get parts for the telephone system because anything ordered had to go through a huge bureaucracy under central control. That is why the system became antiquated and far behind the western world. They likely had dial phones and antiquated equipment in their telephone exchanges while the west had advanced electronic exchanges and touch-tone phones. It would have been the same problems in every industry in the USSR, including hospitals and medical technology. They would have been years, if not decades, behind the west. China changed to a certain degree in the 1980s with a new leader of the CCP. They decided to allow private corporations in China and abroad, but under the ultimate control of the CCP. Personal freedoms do not exist, but corporations were permitted because they created wealth for the country and the government. So it became a sort of hybrid system of Capitalism-Communism.

Part of the problem was created because Canadians in general are Socialists and expect government to provide for them from cradle to grave. Canada has an aging population and the number of seniors is growing rapidly. This means government must provide Old Age Security and CPP at an increasing rate. As more people retire, there are fewer taxpayers to pay for all these social programs including pensions for the old people. Since Canadians are reproducing fewer children, that leaves only one choice. Immigration. More and more immigrants will be required to start paying taxes so that Socialist Canada can continue to pay for all it's social programs and pensions for the old people. Canadians have got themselves into this by demanding more and more social programs from government. They continue to demand more. There is no end to it. Somebody has to pay for it. Who else if not the immigrants? Canadians will also gradually lose their freedoms because that is necessary to maintain and expand a Socialist state. Freedom and Socialism cannot co-exist. It simply will not work. Socialism requires control of everyone so the system will in theory function without breaks or diversions from building the Socialist utopia. So fundamental freedoms cannot exist forever within a Socialist utopia. Orwell wrote about this in his famous book "1984". In order for the Socialist system to grow and entrench itself, it is necessary to have everyone walk, work, speak, think and live in lock step so the state's objective of a utopia can be achieved. There are plenty of examples of freedom being eroded. The very existence of Human Rights Tribunals where people can be punished with heavy fines for exercising their freedom of speech if it offends someone is prime example.

I just heard a report of a man in town who told his 90 year old father not to get vaccinated and now the father just recently died from Covid. The guy's mother is in hospital with Covid as well. This guy told his doctor about this and claimed he was not responsible for his father dying. The doctor told him he definitely is totally responsible and told him he is fired as a patient and he kicked him out of the office. Good for the doctor. This is criminal. The guy should be investigated for a possible criminal offence.

I am a conservative, although not happy with the present CPC party, and I support all the health guidelines, vaccinations, and mandates to fight Covid. I think it is a serious threat to the world. It has already taken many lives. I don't think all Canadian conservatives oppose vaccinations, mandates, and the health guidelines. So it is wrong to generalize and accuse every conservative of being opposed to mandates and health guidelines. A small percentage do and they have given the majority a bad name. The opponents may come from other parties as well. Also many of those protesting against the mandates and health guidelines might not be supporters of any particular party. Many think their rights are being threatened although I disagree with them. They are still a small minority of Canadians. I think something like 80% of Canadians support the health measures. The U.S. is a different story. There are likely more conservatives in the U.S. who oppose mandates, although I think more are getting vaccinated as they see the writing on the wall. But the U.S. is not Canada and they have a different view of things. One should make it clear if they are talking about Canada or the U.S. because there is a big difference.

I think we can thank PM Pierre Elliot Trudeau who in 1970 was one of the first western countries to establish full diplomatic relations with Communist China. Since then roots have been put down in both countries and China has become Canada's second largest trading partner. Now, Canada has joined three of the Five Eyes, the UK, the U.S., Australia and possibly another country to not send diplomats or politicians to the Beijing Olymplcs in February, in order to defend human rights. France and Italy won't join the boycott and plan to send diplomats. I am not surprised as I have read a good part of the book "Hidden Hand" that goes into extensive detail about how countries in Europe have been heavily influenced and brought into China's sphere of influence. The book is available on Amazon as a Kindle download for a few dollars. The influence on western politicians and former politicians and other influential figures in the west is extensive.

If NASA or the space administration and industry had adopted affirmative action and hired people based on skin colour or gender, the U.S. would never have achieved all the success in space that they have achieved in the last 50 years. Affirmative action means choosing people for key jobs, based on race or gender or sexual orientation, rather than merit, education, experience, achievements, or skills. That would have left America in the dust in the space race. They probably would never have put a man on the moon, never landed and explored Mars with unmanned spacecraft, never sent the successful space ship to explore Saturn and it's moons, and countless other achievements that required the best minds in the world. The same situation applies to every achievement, technological advancement, medical discovery, and any other advancement mankind has made.
