I don't know the answer to that. People have a lot of freedom in countries like Britain. They never mentioned how many in Canada. I am not sure what it means for May to ignore individual rights. They are in a bad situation in Britain. I am not sure what can be done. I don't see anything significant happening in the U.S. or Canada in the near future. The problem is not as big as the UK. But in the future decades, who knows what will happen.

A report on CBC said the British police have a total of about 23,000 Muslims they are concerned about and 3,000 of those very concerned about. They have a long list of radicals they are trying to watch but it is practically impossible to watch every radical because they don't have enough manpower to watch that many people. There are a smaller number that are a grave concern. When talking thousands of people, this is pretty serious. It is impossible to follow every person of concern.

America under President Trump
blackbird replied to betsy's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Trump said in a tweet on June 6 " The FAKE MSM is working so hard trying to get me not to use Social Media. They hate that I can get the honest and unfiltered message out. " 44,000 liked that tweet. He is probably the first President to keep millions of his followers in the loop through social media and they appreciate it greatly. MSM hates it because they can't control the message. -

No. He has millions of followers. Tens of thousands of people check off that they like his tweets. Why should he quit? Because some liberal or dem doesn't like it. He's too popular and too many followers on Twitter to quit. It's his way of speaking to his base directly. -

If interested you can watch Trump's weekly address on Twitter (video and sound). It is 3 mins 44 secs long and is a summary of his trip to the middle east, Rome, and NATO. https://twitter.com/realdonaldtrump -

On June 4, Donald Trump tweeted "we must stop being politically correct and get down to the business of security for our people. If we don't get smart, it will only get worse." . -

Just looked at some of Donald Trump's Twitter postings. Fascinating stuff. . He has been a member of Twitter since March 2009. He has 31.9 million followers. His account has received 35,000 tweets, counting his tweets and responses I believe. Anyone can tweet a response to his tweets. He made quite a few tweets on June 6. He sometimes quotes or links in a Fox News item. Great stuff. Great that people can reply and read what others say. -

A point was mentioned today. According to the U.S. commentator, Trump has the constitutional right to tweet like any other citizen. You might not like his tweets because they might not be politically correct, but how much different are they than the tweets from the rest of the world on social media? If he wants to tweet, he has that right. Remember it is just a tweet. I wouldn't put too much in it. It's not an executive order. Remember, the MSM criticized him for tweeting during the election campaign. but what happened when he continued. It worked for him and he won the election. Didn't seem to hurt him then. He says the MSM hates that he can get the truth out. -

Evolution has been de-bunked. No. The boat launch was too crowded with people launching boats (upper 20s today). I think we have been wandering quite far from the topic, Why Trust the Bible?
-
I should have anticipated someone would come up with that. No, evolution has been debunked by professionals like Philip Stott.
-
I don't know. It would be pure speculation. Why are kangaroos only in Australia?
-
I don't know why there are animals in some parts of the world and not others. Climate, vegetation, etc.?? You would have to ask someone who studies animals. Gotta run. Might go fishing now.
-
Maybe someone took some there after the flood. There are aboriginal people in Australia, right? How did they get there after the flood?
-
Such claims may not be credible. There has to be proof, not just claims. If the flood happened between 4000 and 4500 years ago, then possibly some descendants dispersed to China after that, but where is the proof?
-
Gotta run. Bye.

I'm just reading a new book, History of the World. It goes back 2,000 years to talk about the history of China, but there is nothing mentioned three or four thousand years ago about China. Nobody knows anything about a history that old for China.
-
I don't think anyone knows exactly when. But I think I read an estimate of 4,500 years ago.
-
It's interesting the God scattered everyone at the tower of Babel (which I think was in modern day Iraq) and confounded their languages so they couldn't speak the same language. They scattered to different corners of the earth and spoke different languages.
-
I don't believe the claims that they go back 6,000 years. They are descendents of Adam and Eve as well as everyone on earth.
-
I don't have details on that. I believe Prof Stott believes the earth is the centre. It's called geocentricity. I don't necessarily believe that. That is only a theory I think. Possibly only a small number of people believe that. I don't really know the arguments in favour of it.
-
Their not alone in claiming antiquity. Some natives in B.C. claim that they go back 10 or 15 thousand years I think.
