Ban Pro-Palestinian Demonstrations
blackbird replied to NAME REMOVED's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
What you are saying it is ok for Hamas to kill 1,200 Israeli citizens and take 200 hostage, but Israel is not supposed to fight back or destroy the terrorists? Seriously! You need to give your head a shake. You are living in a dream world, not reality. That is not true. There was a truce until October 7th. But Hamas broke that truce and attacked Israeli citizens. Are you ok with Hamas doing that? -

If you are a terrorist supporter, you should be kept behind a wall. How would you propose Israel defend itself against the terrorists? -

Appears you don't understand the situation at all. How many Palestinians hate Israel? How many want Israel gone? How many of the Palestinians in the Gaza support Hamas? Nobody knows, but Hamas became the government of Gaza. How could that happen? Do you think Israel has the right to exist? How should they protect themselves from terrorists like Hamas? -
I checked the link on the bottom of his post. Just had a quick scan through it but did not see anything that would prove man-made climate change is a fact. Just saying CO2 is a greenhouse gas doesn't cut it. That proves nothing. 97% of the CO2 in the atmosphere is natural. Actually water vapour is also a greenhouse gas.

There might be no right to be demonstrating support for a terrorist organization either. Hasn't Hamas been designated a terrorist organization by the Canadian government? If so, how can it be legal to be demonstrating support for them and what they did? -

There are no Charter Right to block highways, protest on private property (malls) and harass people. -
I had a quick look at your link and could not see anything that proved man causes climate change. You referenced some experiments in labs, but that does not represent the real world or earth atmosphere. Seems you put a lot of trust in man-made claims without any real proof. 97% of the CO2 in the atmosphere is natural. Man only contributes 3%. So it is impossible to prove man is the cause of global warming. It is therefore just a unproven assumption.
-
97% of atmospheric CO2 is natural. CO2 is an essential component of life. There is no proof that man is causing climate change. So all the fear-mongering is just that, fear-mongering. Nothing anyone can do to affect climate change. But we have been hammered for years with the carbon taxes and it has done nothing for the climate. It never will. All it is doing is making Canadians poorer. Man's contribution is 3% of the CO2 in the atmosphere. All the efforts to reduce CO2 emission is not likely to change that 3% one iota. There are 8 billion people on earth and hundreds of millions using fossil fuels for transportation, ships, aircraft, buses, automobiles, home heating, agriculture, etc. It is fiction to think man can reduce his total CO2 emissions without seriously harming mankind. And there still is no proof that man's tiny contribution is affecting the climate.

You have bitten and swallowed the globalist elite's lie of climate change alarmism, hook, line, and sinker. What I spend on this book is pocket change and nothing compared to what I have been scammed by way of carbon taxes, the price of groceries and everything else as a result of the globalist's policies and carbon taxes hitting everything in life. Do you think Trudeau and his ilk will ever suffer the lack of anything. They have tons of money stored away and will never suffer like the people he has hurt. The pain from the increasing poverty, homeless people, and food bank people is causing more suffering than climate change will ever cause. Controlling the climate is pure fiction and is just a tool of the globalists for more control of everyone. Out descendants have already been saddled with a massive debt of tens of billions of dollars and a massive shortage of housing as a result of years of Socialist government lunacy. Our descendants will likely never own a home because of Trudeau and his gang including his NDP puppets.

There is a hot book on Amazon called: "O CHINADA, The Manchurian Canadaian: Communist Patsy of Canada, CHANNELING CASTRO" O CHINADA, The Manchurian Canadaian: Communist Patsy of Canada, CHANNELING CASTRO eBook : Rosenberger, Richard Abram: Amazon.ca: Kindle Store "We are witnessing the globalist hostile takeover of Canada through Justin Trudeau. Following the World Economic Forum playbook, Marxist powers of this age have "penetrated" the Liberal Government of Canada by the Queen's Royal Assent. Foreign actors and interests currently control the Prime Minister, all under the guiding eye of the Monarchy. An autocoup has already dismissed our Constitution, mandated tyranny, holding many nations. Treaties are signed, but you were NOT at the table!" Is this for real or is this some kind of scam? I don't know. We do know the Trudeau government puts a lot of trust in what the U.N. says and parrots them on some things like Covid vaccinations, climate change and now the war between Israel and Hamas, and mass immigration into Canada. Canada already seems to be less of a sovereign country and more of some kind of property of the U.N. We know Canada also sends billions of dollars to other countries. Four billion to Iraq. And we know Canada is spending tens of billions of dollars on EV battery plants as part of their war on climate change and the U.N. has been banging the gavel about the war on climate change along with COP28. We need to ask why Trudeau and his minister Guilbeault need to using Canada on the war against climate change likely more fervently than any other country in the world. Why are we paying such a heavy price for this war on climate change? Maybe I will get the book on Kindle or get the paperback. It is hard to judge a book by its cover.

Should Hamas support rallies in Canada be stopped?
blackbird replied to blackbird's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Do you seriously believe you can impose your idea of the way government should be on the rest of the world? Good luck with that. Nobody is going to change the system in Israel. They have a democratic government now in Israel. They are also a Jewish state which is their right to be. If you don't like it too bad. They are surrounded by hundreds of millions of Muslims who want to eliminate them and of course they have to do what they require to protect themselves from being wiped out. That likely requires certain laws as well. No country is required to change their system so that their enemies can come in and destroy them. -

Pure fiction! Didn't you hear that one in ten now depend on food banks in some places? Or that Canada is short millions of homes? No, I don't think people who can't afford $50,000 for a down payment or can't afford $3,000 a month for a 2 BR apartment are running two cars. Your problem is you are a senior who has lost touch with reality. You have tunnel vision and only see the rest of society as like yourself with a pension, own a home with no mortgage, and possibly have two vehicles. You don't have any idea how there are millions of others who don't have all that and many are struggling to put food on the table or pay for a shelter. What made things this bad is what you should be asking. But you don't bother to try to find out. If you looked into it, you would find the Liberals and NDP spend, spend, spend ideology and their control, control, control ideology has a lot to do with it. That has made things a lot worse. Just the war on climate change and carbon taxes has driven up the cost of living. It will get much worse if the Liberals and NDP have their way and shut down the energy industry. -

It's funny how some posters who lean to the left are still in denial. They would never admit the truth even though it stares them in the face. As an example of the "denial syndrome", I wrote that the failing health care system in Canada was also being harmed by the Liberal government throwing over 4 billion dollars to Iraq. Yet some lefty still managed to deny it and question how spending money on other things would affect our health care system. He evidently doesn't understand the money all comes from the same source, the Canadian taxpayers who only pay a specific amount. The money tree is not endless. I just noticed the brilliant writer, Conrad Black wrote an opinion piece about the Human Right's Commission's moronic attack on Christmas. Can you believe it? These people should all be fired. What a useless organization. "It is illustrative of the nonsense that now chronically afflicts our country and much of the Western world that the Canadian Human Rights Commission recently reported that statutory holidays for Christian celebrations, including Christians, are “a form of discrimination” that is “deeply rooted in our identity as a settler colonialism state.” It is more accurate to say that the Human Rights Commission is a form of idiocy deeply rooted in our woke, politically correct foolishness." Conrad Black: The Human Rights Commission's moronic attack on Christmas (msn.com) This surely is proof of how unhappy the progressive left/liberals must be. How could anyone be happy going around hating Christmas holidays and celebrations and thinking Christians or Christianity is a form of discrimination that is ruining their life. How sad could such people be. Their mind is twisted and demented. Very tragic. -
If millions want to destroy Israel, what difference does it make if a few want peace? They have no influence or say. The terrorists and anti-Israel radicals run the show. You are in the same camp as the anti-Semites that existed for 2,000 years and led to the Holocaust.

"The Trudeau Liberals have spent $4.7 billion on their Middle East action plan, tackling extremism but also building “post-conflict strategies,” Hussen said." "What in the actual holy hell is this????” one person asked on X. “Canadian taxpayers are supporting everyone in the world except Canadians. While food banks are feeding Canadian families, these traitors are giving our money to other countries like there’s no tomorrow. This is treason.” Another commented, “Canadians (those fortunate enough to have decent jobs) work their asses off & send half their earnings to Ottawa so they can … give it away to Iraqis? We need to focus on Canadian youth, not foreign students and not those who have no connection at all to this country. What a mess!” In another reply, a user posted, “That’s the Iraqi government’s problem, not the Canadian taxpayers’ problem.” Trudeau and the Liberals are squandering taxpayer money on everything imaginable under the sun. Billions of dollars have been spent on the so-called Middle East action plan. Canadians have no say in all this. Yet the health care system is failing, there is an acute housing shortage, and they are bringing in 500,000 immigrants in the next year and thereafter. Ten reasons why Socialism is wrong.
blackbird replied to blackbird's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Socialists and Socialist politicians in Canada seem to believe a bad public health care system in Canada is better than a good private health care system. In Canada the public health care system is failing with long waiting lists, over-crowded emergency rooms to the point some of them are ready to collapse and millions of Canadians with no family doctor. How could anyone call that a public health care system? It is certainly not providing equitable service for everyone. The Socialist politicians that have the responsibility to run it are failing miserably. One of the problems is that the politicians are pressured from all sides to provide services of all kinds and solve all problems for everyone. There is not enough money in the pot to solve everything so they end up giving every cause a small piece of the pie. So health care gets a limited amount of funds, not enough to run properly. One of the characteristics of Socialism is bureaucracy grows like mad and becomes unmanageable. Everyone wants a piece of the pie or the public money source. -

Anyone who thinks Jesus was a Communist or supporter of Communism really has no idea of what Jesus taught and what Communism is. Many rich people give a lot of their wealth to charity. In B.C. Jimmy Pattison, who owns many companies, gives a percentage of his wealth to charities every year. He is known for building a health centre which is named after him. There is also reports that he once put a cheque for a million dollars in a church collection plate. -

Half of Canadians believe in Socialism. They obviously don't know anything about God's written revelation, in English, the King James Bible. If they knew anything about it, they would have some knowledge about the ten points I posted at the top of this subject, ten reasons why Socialism is wrong. If they were born again, they would be opposing Socialism. But because they are not, they are contributing to the fall of Canada. Socialism could well destroy our country or turn it into a basket case as it is doing now with the health care system, the housing crisis, and cost of living crisis for millions of Canadians. " Half of Canadians think socialism is okay©Provided by The Daily Digest Canada is often thought of as a country that is steeped in socialist policies because of its free healthcare and robust social safety net, and if you ask those living in the country, nearly half would say they support socialism." Support for socialism in Canada is strong, but no one wants to pay for it (msn.com) -
Federal Dental Insurance Care Scheme

Why get educated and get a profession, occupation, or trade? Why work, and why manage your money when Big Brother will take care of it all and provide everything? Some tent encampments are now taking the local governments to court to demand better services such as electrical outlets, garbage cleanup, toilets, etc. etc. Soon they will have their own municipal governments and become incorporated.
