I can't argue with this. Hurt feelings at a young age leads to mental health issues later on in life. Words hurt, in case you are unaware.

We cannot allow teachers to make hateful tirades that may hurt the feelings of any student. Let me ask you; don't you feel the firing is justified? I for one applaud these hard - assed administartors.

I wonder how many other teachers in Canada should be fired for hurtful comments in the classroom. This plucky girl had the fortitude to go tell her administrator the hateful rhetoric being spewed in her class. The sad thing is that this innocent girl could be scarred for life for the hate she had to endure in the classroom, which should be a safe place for all students. I wonder if schools, public and private, are doing enough to create safe spaces for their stduents? If not, then we need provincial governments to appoint a task force to make sure every school has multiple safe places. The thing is, if this brave girl did not tell on the teacher, then the teacher would still to this day making hateful and hurtful comments that could damage a fragile young person for life.

If popular vote mattered, Trump would have campaigned more in heavily populated California and New York. But he knew he wasn't going to win those states. He could have campaigned in each state and picked up a few hundred thousnad votes, which would have helped him with the popular vote. He had no hope there so he didn't do that. The electoral college forces campaigns to focus on the states that are in play and conceding those that one knows they can't win. Different systems require different methods of campaigning.

Bernie Sanders is a wonderful person at some level of his being. When he smiles, the world lights up. The bird landed alighted on his podium, not any other. But despite this, he was allied with Darkness. After the terrible Soros funded violence in Chicago, which shut down Trump’s rally, Bernie said “Good job, everyone.” He also said White don’t know what it’s like to be poor. Now admit it Buck, that’s just despicable. Did you see his face during the DNC? He looked like he was in Hell. We may never get to the bottom of all this. Was he just her wing man to begin with – and only later becoming serious? It seemed very real at the end, and he seemed to feel he was betraying his people – and his best self. In exchange he seemed to have gotten a book deal, a lake house, and a future with Democrats, who owe him a big favor. You may well get a chance if four years to vote for him. In the mean time, cut deeply into your middle finger and eat the pain.

Most of my family is voting for Trump except my absent-minded grandmother. We have tried and tried to change her mind, but she has voted Dem every election since she died 14 years ago.

With all the leaks, the blatant collusion of the media with the political establishment, the collapse of the Affordable Care Act, and the palatable panic of the political class I think the American voter smells blood. The government has utterly betrayed the average man, becoming corrupt to the core. This is when the abused voter on both sides of the aisle lashes out at the political body that betrayed it.
