  1. This doesn't make sense. Sarnia is a manufacturing hub. The Conservatives are FOR manufacturing. The Liberals are AGAINST it. It's why Sarnia has voted Conservative for the last 20 years, even during the last 11 Liberal years. And not by a small margin - they've voted Conservative by large margins.
  2. This is a lie. What happens most often is we "monkeys" post a well-thought argument or statement and your best friend responds with: LLOOLLLL LLOOOOOSER!!! PEDOPHILE PEDOPHILE PEDOPHILE......LOOOLLL L LLLOOL LL LL OO LLLLLOOOOSER.....LOOLLLLLLOOOSER PEDOHILE PEDOPHILE.......LOOOOOOSSSEERRRR LLOLLL LLLOLL LLOL LLLOO LLL LLOO LLLLLOOOSERR. You have the order of events backwards.
  3. Ya, he's explained to us before. He can say anything he wants to anyone else and we are supposed to shut up and let him. Yes, that's exactly how 12-year-olds think and act.
  4. Here is a brief video on the Indigenous Treaties issue. I know it's not CBC, but frankly, CBC is not going to cover this issue. There are a ton of videos of the town halls that have been happening in every Alberta city, town, village, hamlet and FN Reserve, that cover this one topic in great detail. You would be foolish to underestimate the number of FN people who would love to get out from under The Indian Act. And Alberta separation would make that possible. If they choose it.
  5. She didn't even tell her EDA she was leaving. I highly doubt she consulted with her constituents.
  6. Yet you seem to thoroughly enjoy the 12-year-old's posts. Again, you thoroughly enjoy the 12-year-old's posts.
  7. It's a "consensus" is it? Amongst whom? Ottawa is already severely hurting Alberta with economic, fiscal and logistic challenges. It's funny that you talk about there being a "consensus" but you don't know anything about how the issues will be resolved. I get it, you get your info from the CBC so you're extremely uninformed. Add to that, that you have zero interest in getting any information apart from what the CBC tells you and it's just willful ignorance now and a contented laziness for wanting to have your opinions and thoughts spoonfed to you. I will tell you this, having lived in 3 different provinces in my lifetime - I have found Albertans to have the highest level of political intelligence. There are far more Albertans who are very active in keeping politically informed than in any other province. They actually care about what policies come out of Ottawa and they care about how those policies affect all of Canada, not just Alberta. I guess, they USED to care about how policies affected everyone else. It's clear the rest of Canda doesn't care about Alberta, beyond using them as a piggy bank. It's an abusive relationship. The rest of Canada takes & takes & takes and shits on Alberta constantly - Oh, we're all stupid country hicks. 🙄 Everything about separation has a solution - from Indigenous treaties, to CPP, to trade with other provinces and countries, to being landlocked, to what to do with all the money we don't have to give to Quebec & Ontario. Constitutional lawyers have it figured out. I don't know if you know this or not, but the separatist movement in Saskatchewan is picking up a lot of steam. If SK sees that separation is possible and leads to prosperity, imagine if SK separates with us. It's Ontario & Quebec that will have the fiscal & economic problems, not us.
  8. Well, Liberal pom-pom wavers. This is it. Now is your chance to prove that a Liberal government can create some sort of prosperity. It’s never happened before, and if they can’t do it with a majority - hopefully you’ll finally wake up. My worry, though, is that they will now flood the country with even more Indian immigrants and censor dissidents with their NEW! 5 censorship bills. Continue giving our money away while our own infrastructure crumbles - housing, jobs, schools, healthcare systems. Get everybody on Digital ID, tied to your carbon credit score. More massive deficits, more money printing. Same excuses and delays for why we can't have any industry in Canada that's not totally funded by taxpayers. Exponentially grow the size of government and you’ll never be able to vote yourself out of this mess again. I hope I’m wrong. But I think I'm not. 11 years of experience tells me I'm not. World history tells me I'm not.
  9. I can't imagine that anyone is so stoopid that they can't figure out that if we lose CUSMA, we're dead as a country. But here we are.
  10. Support is at 42%. That's more than for Brexit. Support for Alberta separatism at a 5-year high: poll | National Post Lots of post like this today:
  11. GAH You are correct. I was looking into Chinese owned mines and have about a dozen browsers open and mixed up articles about it with the antimony mines in NL & Labrador. Very sorry and thanks for the correction. SNC Lavelin that committed contractor fraud on that road and $250 million went "missing". It was the Agnico mine and would have connected several First Nations reserves. I won't delete my post but I'll put a correction on it. OR........! I could pull a 12 year boy trick and tell you I was just testing you. 🤣
  12. There's this, too: Weird that she felt her far right views were being suppressed by Poilievre, so she goes to a far left party?
  13. Not all Liberals are happy about it. I have wondered what the Liberal backbenchers think of these floor crossers who get splashy new titles, unlimited expense accounts, trips around the world and attention from Carney.
  14. If only the Uyghurs had thought of that before...... Or the auto plant workers in Hungary and Brazil....... Or Australia before China turned on them....... Or Canada before all the Chinese drug cartels......
  15. There is no benefit to Alberta to remain in Canada. Not even one.
  16. EDIT: THIS INFORMATION IS INCORRECT SO I CORRECTED IN A POST ON THE NEXT PAGE. THANK YOU, EYEBALL FOR POINTING IT OUT. ************************************************************** In 2009, China bought a Nunavut mine in a fire sale for $1.4 billion. Gray's Bay mine. The mine had sat for 55 years because it had no infrastructure and was not financially viable, so no private investor wanted it. But now Carney has fast-tracked $900 million Canadian tax dollars to build the port and road for the Chinese. The road does not connect to any communities, the Trapper Associations opposed it and it runs through several critical calving grounds for caribou. There are no guarantees of jobs and no contractual benefit clauses. The road & port serve the mine and the mine serves Beijing. Canadians pay for the road, China takes the ore and the profits. Another one of Carney's "nation building" projects. But whose nation is he building? Canada is compromised.
  17. Shake those pom-poms for Xi! WoooooHooooooooo!!
  18. These cars aren't going to be "built" in Canada. They are "assembled." Like IKEA furniture. And they do it the Chinese way. In Europe: EV giant BYD accused of forced labour violations at European factory | CBC News "Nobody asks themselves why the cars were so cheap: it's because when you decide to choose affordability to serve your finite resources at the expense of society's values of fairness, somebody else pays the bill," said Automotive Parts Manufacturers Association president Flavio Volpe. "Increasingly in advanced Chinese manufactured goods, they're not just exporting the product. They're exporting their domestic business practices and hiding behind impressive investment numbers in the hopes that we look away." The report is "deeply concerning," said Canadian Vehicle Manufacturers Association president Brian Kingston. "Canada's auto industry can compete and win but the playing field must be level," he said. And in Brazil: Brazil prosecutors sue Chinese carmaker BYD for violating labor rights | CNN Business
  19. There's probably some truth to this. 4 or 5 cities in the East decide who runs Canada and they are Liberal strongholds by tradition, not by educated voting. When the Liberals are power federally, all they have to do is keep those 4 or 5 cities happy. When Conservatives are in power, they have to keep both the East and the West happy. And that's a more difficult job.
  20. They've been promising affordability for Canadians for 11 years now, with Carney advising them for almost half that time. It's never happened. And it's gotten worse.
  21. At some point, some of you will wake up and realize it's not Alberta that was treasonous. It was the Liberal government you all cheered for, while they sold out your national sovereignty to the New World Order with China and stole all your money.
  22. It should really be obvious to everyone by now (but I know some of you are still snoring), but Carney doesn't view Canada as a sovereign nation. He views it as a corporate boardroom, ripe for a takeover. I believe the Liberals know how damaging to democracy this amount of floor crossing is (which is unprecedented). I believe this is the point of it. Degrade democracy to one-party rule. Voila! New World Order. Where no country has sovereignty, all are ruled by unelected bureaucrats, billionaires and technocrats, same rules for everyone. If they say "You all have to take in 10 million refugees" everyone has to do it, no matter what it does to the country. They make rules that don't affect themselves and don't care how it works out for the people on the ground. They're making money, so......
  23. I guarantee you that if they know you're from Ontario, they know you're a Liberal pom-pom waver and the majority of us know there's nothing that will change your mind. Ever. They might say a couple things but I suspect they know your true feelings about Albertans. Albertans in general - we know now that Ottawa will never change. 11 years of stifling industry and the economy. Canada will not survive another 3-4 years of it. Ballooning deficits, printing money, mass immigration from India, social experiments like "free drugs for drug addicts", hiring more & more government workers, none of that is stopping. It's not going to stop. We see the Liberal Party fighting like hell to be able to use the Emergency Act any time they feel like it, for any reason. There's a reason for that. They will call for climate lockdowns or economic lockdowns next. When the Emergency Act is implemented, there will be no elections in Canada. Carney is a Central Banker and he's changing the laws and the Charter to be able to achieve the Central Banker agenda. You're not gonna like it. But you won't be able to do anything about it or protest it when its fully implemented. These floor-crossings have changed the outcome of the 2025 election and show that voting doesn't matter. Albertans have taken note. We know it means we will have even less say than we do now. Democracy is finished in Canada. The rest of you can have what you voted for - ballooning deficits, money printing, no industry, a tanking economy, social experimentation, higher & higher taxation, inflation, food insecurity. The Liberals love power. They know what they have to say to get and keep power. But they are really bad at governing. Alberta is done with all that. The rest of you are not. And that's ok. 🙂 I don't understand why any of you are upset. You get what you want. We get what we want. Everybody's happy. 😀 No country is fully independent. They all rely on trade with other countries. Good luck with China. 🙂 (You're gonna need it.)
  24. That problem has already been solved. The answer was 42.
