  1. There are not a lot of good food sources that contain sufficient quantities of vitamin D. Fish is probably the best (salmon, mackerel), and farmed fish has way lower content than wild. If you had wild salmon or mackerel daily, then you would be ok. Otherwise you would need to take foods that have been fortified with vitamin D. Sunlight is still by far the best source as the vitamin D is produced by the cholesterol in your skin.
  2. The failure has been the last 10 years where we didn't get a mile of pipeline to tidewater. If we were in the position, it would be as simple as turning off the taps and little Donald would be on his knees begging.
  3. Refugees and immigrants are not the same. I agree we need to rethink our immigration strategy, but that is a completely different issue than our obligation to help refugees. Are there better way to help refugees, absolutely a valid question to ask. Turning a blind eye however is not the solution, especially to a problem we had a hand in creating.
  4. Did I miss something, has there been a recount and we are still fighting the election?
  5. Поздравление Дональду Трампу с победой на выборах Президента Соединённых Штатов Америки

  6. Is there any significance of the '21'? The French law is about publicly praising ISIS, and I'm wondering how this could be construed as meaning that.
  7. I don't think Donald can keep his fingers out of the cookie dough. I agree with you that Pence will be more active than previous VPs, but at some point he will step out of line and Donald is not very forgiving.
  8. Nobody is feeling sorry for Clinton. What remains to be seen is what does America get.
  9. Good observation on Pence, it will be interesting to see just how much sway he does have in the new administration.
  10. I wonder how many of us will be hosting angry American houseguest over the coming months?
  11. What would Archie do? Those of us old enough to remember Archie remember he turned out very different than his caricature, even though that caricature persists to this day. It will be an interesting 4 years. Both good metaphors, but I think the gin bottle is the winner.
  12. Republicans are now 100% responsible for the future, and will have nobody to blame.
  13. There are literally millions of people that opposed one of the Presidential candidates. You will need to show a link between their opposition and their death, as the statistical chance of coincidence is so high that it is inevitable.
  14. What did Trudeau say? Trump was the one calling Trudeau Canada's worst President, yet I don't know of anything Trudeau ever said against Trump.
  15. Trump supporters are still dumb, but their saving grace is the even dumber people who didn't vote.
  16. That was Sunday's news, today she took away his belt and shoelaces.
  17. 18. To put that in perspective, assuming 200 work days/year, that works out to $100/day. I'm not sure how big dre's business is, but $100/day is not a lot for petty cash. Yes, credit cards might offer a some advantages for better tracking although many businesses do not get corporate credit cards for their employees. If they have a lot of employees doing small transactions, then a lot of corporate cards might hit their credit rating and limit.
  19. Before he opened up the White Horse Restaurant and Inn in Whitehorse he had the Arctic Restaurant and Hotel in Bennett B.C..
  20. It is a good thing that the Conservatives didn't tax income trusts.
  21. It didn't need to go to the High Court to get that ruling, that is how the British Parliamentary system works.
  22. When a gold mine leaves a toxic wasteland in its tailing ponds, that is stealing from future generations. The lumber industry had a very poor history of clearcutting and leading to erosion. Thankfully we have had better regulation in recent years that have helped change those practices, but we still have a long way to go.
  23. After spending over two years and several million dollars on investigation, the House Select Committee on Benghazi finds no new evidence of culpability or wrongdoing by Hillary Clinton. I think that Kimmey needs to spend a hundred million dollars and 10 years researching Benghazi and maybe then she will find something.
  24. Lots of honest industries out there that don't rely on stealing from future generations.
  25. From what I understand about this, a Quebec judge authorized this wiretapping and surveillance to take place. The larger problem in my opinion is that the public has zero feedback on how extensive this is, and the individuals being tracked don't either. There should be mandatory limits on the duration of any such warrant, and if necessary a subsequent warrant to extend that must be obtained. At the termination of any investigation, those being investigated should be notified that it occurred. Additionally the public should be informed on the extent of surveillance that is taking place on a periodic basis. We need accountability in the system, today there is almost none.
