  1. Let me simplify, Fair is not using borders to circumvent worker and environmental regulation.
  2. Really, could you point me to one of them?
  3. If we can maintain a growing export economy then the population decrease is not a problem. That means widgets, not services.
  4. I don't want free access to any market, I want fair access. Yes, nothing is easy but let's get the right goalpost first.
  5. I'm not sure how much of Syria is hers but yes she has to wear Libya.
  6. I never suggesting closing off trade, I suggest fair trade.
  7. Like the latest model iPhone - built in China.
  8. Those same concentrated wealth interests that are holding down wages are directing the trade deals. In the end the economy only works for a few people, until we overthrow them.
  9. This just keeps getting better and better. It appears that Trump funded the project Veritas video that has been circulating the past few days through his Trump Foundation.
  10. True that, but it didn't lead to destabilization and rise of ISIS. Even earlier daddy Bush also bombed Iraq.
  11. Yes, certainly individual immigrants have fallen on need of support from the State. Look at the Fraser Institute numbers however, no not their politicized summary but the real data, and you will see that immigrants as a whole contribute more to the public purse then they take away.
  12. Just think, I we had Gore as President we won't have Iraq, ISIS, largest recession since the Great depression, and the fallout from them like Libya and Syria.
  13. Never in the 240 year history of the US has a Presidential candidate (at least from the major parties, I don't know what other quacks are saying) made such vast and unsubstantiated allegations about the democratic process. This only exemplifies that Trump belongs with the quacks, and demonstrates what a sad state of affairs exists in the once great Republican party.
  14. 'You people'? Trump is a liar for the many, many, many lies he tells each and every single day.
  15. Not all the votes had been counted, there were still more provisional ballots than the lead Bush had. As soon as it was clear that Bush had won, Kerry conceded. That was the morning after the election, you are making a mountain out of nothing.
  16. In 2016 Donald Trump lost by over 10 million votes and refused to concede. b.t.w. It was not the Democrats that demanded a recount in Ohio, it was the Greens and Libertarians. Don't forget the whole controversy of the president of the voting machine manufacturer writing a letter to Bush saying he would deliver the votes in Ohio.
  17. True enough, he is losing by over 30% in some states and 62% in D.C.
  18. Trump is losing by 9%. Gore won by 0.5% but lost Florida by less than 0.01%. It is weeks before the election and Trump is whining.
  19. Excluding Florida, Bush had 246 electoral votes and Gore had 266. The exit polls in Florida were in Gore's favour and all the pundits declared him the winner. Early results in the counting reversed that and Bush was declared the winner. Throughout the night as other counties results came in the lead narrowed considerably so the pundits retracted their pronouncement. There was an automatic machine recount and Bush ended up taking Florida by a margin of 300 votes. Gore requested a hand recount in a few counties (remember all the controversy about the machine failures and chaff?). Note that because of the way the electoral college works, even in the end Gore with well over a half million more votes nationwide had to concede to Bush because he happened to have about a thousand more votes in Florida. The big difference is however this all happened after the election, not weeks before from the loser Trump who is way behind by many orders of magnitude in all metrics.
  20. There were significant difference between 2000 and 2016. The contention was in Florida, where the results were almost a tie. Nation wide, Gore (48.4%) was a half point higher than Bush (47.9%) in the popular vote. The electoral college however went to Bush because of the mandatory Florida recount. Trump isn't even close in any category. Can you imagine if he wins the popular vote and lose the electoral college? Trump is the child that would push the nuclear button on such an occurrence.
  21. Fraser institute likes to emphasize certain number but totally ignore others. They talk about immigrants paying less tax on average to other Canadians (to be expected because average income is lower) and what they cost to the system. They totally ignore their own number however point out that they add more in taxes than what they cost to the system. This is a net benefit to the public purse that the Fraser Institute likes to gloss over.
  22. It seems like someone finally got through and made him take one (of his many) feet out of his mouth. Of course this is a "major announcement", real earth shaking stuff you know, that he will actually do something normal that has been done for 240 years. update, he tacks on "if I win". The little child crossed his fingers so he could lie like a banshee. What a friggen immature little creep. Victim #10 came forward this morning to tell her story about how Trump sexually abused her.
  23. Trump lives in a locker room.
  24. I not defending any policy, just pointing out the fact that your theory on it being a Liberal policy holds no water. I think it is nonsense to pretend we can solve economic problems, especially long term, with immigration. I'm not against immigration, and I also believe we have a responsibility to help refugees, but we need to rethink our approach.
