  1. I'm sure economically challenged people will still blame Carbon Taxes once Gas Prices skyrocket again due to OPEC's cut to oil production.

      Seems crazy to do it right when there’s an energy crisis in Europe. 

      Unless you’re a superpower that wants to see increasing strife between the EU and Russia.

      The majority of the gas prices is taxes, federal and provincial. and yes, gas prices are going up from carbon taxes. it's been splashed all over the media.

      This year the Carbon tax went up 2¢/litre and the Feds are mailing out cheques to compensate for it. 

      In the last few weeks the gas prices in Ontario has gone up by around 15¢/litre. 

      Also, some provinces have actually decided to stop collected Gas Tax revenue while the prices are so high. I reckon they still collect the HST.
