You just dismissed the great job gains as no-big deal because people were told they can't work.
Then you pivot to the catastrophe of having to have those Stay-At-Home orders in the first place.
These numbers would indicate the economy is headed for a rebound.
Sure the hospitality industry is seeing some serious losses, but other industries have seen a boon time because of the pandemic.

There not actual job gains. Provinces have been in lockdown for two months. It’s businesses bringing back laid off employees. You have no idea what you’re taking about as usual. And to compare to to the united states makes zero sense. They’re not going to have the same job numbers this quarter because most of their economy hasn’t been locked down, hence those jobs are already been added to the economy. You’re an economic illiterate.

If they're not economic gains then the previous losses aren't actually losses either.
It's good news because it's an indication that many of these jobs aren't permanently lost, which is what your caustic post indicated.
