I'm not a religious person, but in my own way I'm praying that the common people of Iran, who just wanna go about their own business, come out ahead in all of this. I hope that the injuries, deaths, and even the damage to their personal belongings is kept to an absolute minimum, and that at the end of the day, Iran becomes a more tolerant and inclusive society where different cultures can flourish.

I don't care about a win for Trump, or for the US... the survival of Persian culture and beauty is what's at stake here. For my entire life, Iran has been a symbol of ugliness, oppression, hatred, bigotry and brutality, and that's not what people are about, at all.
