  1. Especially when people are talking about his dad
  2. Yeah optimistic the Syrians are going to come en masse and definitely optimistic as the country plunges into the stone ages. Yeah follow your leader as he sinks the damn place - just because he's optimistic.
  3. By saying he's open and honest with Canadians and he's not playing politics.
  4. Jobs. Period. The economy. Period. So what if they sold some things to the Saudis. Do we refuse to deal with any nation which violates human rights? If so we need to pretty much stop dealing with non-white nations. How would you feel about that? And btw, the Saudis might be bad, but they're not indulging in genocide or sex slavery, so your comparison is simply outright wrong. Well that's mighty noble of you to give up your job for your principles! Uh, oh, but it's not YOUR job, eh? And do you think our refusal to sell the Saudis a bunch of armored personnel carriers is going to improve life over there? Because I think they'll just shrug and buy them from the Americans or Russians or French or British or Chinese. Jobs. Period. The economy. Period. So what if they sold some things to the Saudis. You're aware that pipelines take many years to completely, right? The present oil glut is not likely to last many years. They've been posted here a number of times, actually. Our allies were bidding for the contract too. If we didn't get the deal, there'd be 3000 people without jobs in London ON
  5. Correct. And yes, the Conservatives are spending peanuts compared to the NDP/Liberals. Plus, the NDP's math doesn't even add up. $8 billion hole. no thanks
  6. 11% for the NDP as per Abacus? No way.
  7. I think at this point the ndp is toast
  8. Why does any politician campaign?
  9. Source? Look, i've said this before and i'll say it again. I am, as a right winger, open to thoughts.
  10. I eat my words. Thanks again for your analysis. So I gotta ask you, if you were to pick on one pollster org, what would you pick?
  11. Look i'm not doubting you, but in a world of "cite this" and "cite that", can you please cite this so I can read up on it? Thanks
  12. Thanks for this. My argument would be...if the average right voter were stupid (which is what has been implied on this board), why would the right voter answer the phone at all in the first place? I think in your assumption you are assuming that the voters as part of N know what's going on day to day. I don't think so.
  13. Also, does the CPC voter really care what people think in a phone poll though? I mean, look i'll be frank. I am a CPC voter, I could give a shit what the pollster was asking me. I realize I'm pretty die hard but I don't think any other CPC supporter would care...
  14. I disagree with you. My wife takes part of these online polls and is paid for them. I'll have to ask her which polls in particular but she has been asked to fill them out. (for $)
  15. Dammit I missed it. What was the tax info? Or did I pick up wrong info again.
  16. I agree, although I'm sure I'm going to be bashed into the corner for being an idiot for supporting Harper. I'm watching this waiting for Harper's tax break announcement. Apparently that's coming soon? Maybe I missed it. I've never seen Harper so charged up though. Warms me to my core.
  17. I have no disagreement that both sides would lose. I'm just saying that if the shit hits the fan, I'd rather Canada not be worse off.
  18. Well apparently young people don't vote for the Conservatives. So...how do you explain that for online polls?
  19. http://saskatoon.ctvnews.ca/video?clipId=68596 I've never seen him so charged up. Enough Harper bashing on this board. I'm pleasantly happy right now
  20. Thanks @cybercoma for your opinion. It's vastly appreciated by me.
  21. Is the rejection rate higher for phone (live interviews) versus online?
  22. To be fair, the Conservatives were polling in the 35-40% range. They aren't doing that this time, neither is any other party. If the Conservatives pulled a majority, I'd get really really drunk and celebrate. I don't think that will happen.
  23. HAHAHAHA. Ok my really horrible day today has now been turned around twice tonight
  24. Thanks. Yet another loud mouth with no substance and here with an axe to grind. I'll be sure to share this!
