  1. I definitely do not want change. I disagree with you about Trudeau/Mulcair/Harper. I don't know what I'm getting with Mulcair. I do know what I'm going to get with Trudeau and Harper. Either way, I'm in the "stay the course" camp. Harper is FAR from perfect, but to me, his poop smells the most pleasant. (is that even possible? - basking in the ambiance - a quote from the movie White Chicks)
  2. She wastes, IMO, air time. I'd rather hear what the trio is debating rather than have a party which has 4-5%.
  3. I can't stand how some people don't understand the facts. Go look up the amount of revenue oil brings into this country versus other industries. http://www.nrcan.gc.ca/publications/key-facts/16013 Sometimes I wish people would research before spewing out party lines.
  4. I fly about 78,000 miles domestically for work and spent 225 nights last year on the road. I've flown with Suzuki maybe 5 times now? He always sits up front. Interesting coming from an environmentalist. His CO2 footprint would be the highest. He'd be better off flying on WestJet since they have lower environmental impact because they can fly more people for the same cost. He's a hypocrit. Trudeau's a twerp though, he's right there.
  5. I think Trudeau was the one who lost. Harper took a few zingers, and gave a few zingers. "The war is not against CSIS but ISIS" was a good line and the line at the end about how 99% of trade agreements were done in a Conservative government was good too. Trudeau pulling the daddy card was moronic. We know who you are, that's why you're even standing on the stage. Wahh, I don't want to talk about C51 so now I'm going to bring up my dad. Lame.
  6. 1) Invest in Canada in 2008. Flaherty and him spent a whole whack ton of money 2) Get us out of deficit 3) Doubling of the TFSA / and the introduction of one 4) Followed through on his word to cut down GST by 2% 5) Crisis after crisis, Harper kept Canada at the top of the G7 when it came to job creation 6) Kept us from spending more money than necessary 7) Did not run permanent deficits like the *cough* Liberals would have (read the National Post article on Trudeau Senior) 8) Cut small businses taxes 9) Cut corporate taxes 10) Pretty generous home renovation credit.
  7. Exactly. I just want the government to tax me as little as possible so I can get ahead. I undertand the point of social programs but anyone who thinks that it's the government's job to help them = entitled.
  8. I'd much rather see them deported then having to pay for their time in jail.
