  1. Yeah Trudeau and Mulcair both said publicly they are feminists. What a load of shit. I support the equal rights of both sexes.
  2. Re: this. Sure, another 2-3% here, another 2-3% there, add on a carbon tax...etc. I'm sure it's a stretch for some and probably exaggerated given the heat of the election, but IMO we really do lose talent in this country because of the amount one earns/spends. (take physicians as an example). Two close family friends just became GPs. When the topic about $ was discussed, they sure were surprised how much their American counterparts made, and they're seriously thinking about leaving Canada. (and this is after we subsidized their education) <--we being the taxpayers
  3. I don't see how a multi million dollar payout is such a poor business decision. There are upsides to not working for yourself.
  4. And like many voters, they'll have to learn the hard way.
  5. If you weren't paying taxes, wouldn't you want to tax to increase?
  6. Simple. If you don't believe me, ask a mod to send me their email address, and i'll send them an email to shed my anonymity and we can bury the hatchet. It's painfully obvious that my employer doesn't pay anyone less than 6 figures. CSL?
  7. And yet another poll showing the two top parties in a stat. tie. http://www.scribd.com/doc/284153512/Mainstreet-Research-poll-Oct-9
  8. Ok potatoes potat oes....
  9. In a Conservative government, I do not think it will. Also if it does, I'm outta here. I'm not willing to support lazy left whining idiots. You don't deserve my tax $.
  10. Ha, like I need to prove it to you. No, a Conservative government would not raise my taxes. If you really doubt who I work for, ask a mod for their email address and I will email them with my work email and call it a day. The average salary from my employer is in the high $180 range. People like to whip our their male appendages for size measuring. I'm willing to put my money where my mouth is.
  11. Money talks. If money is a dirty word for you, I don't care. The joy about money is simple. It's measurable, and it's independent of party.
  12. No, it's not your right. If you can't afford kids, then don't come begging me for help. I don't care what happens to them. There are no heart strings that you can pull from me to support your children. If it came down to it. You have 0 rights to a child if you can't afford it.
  13. You're right. The majority of jobs are from small businesses. However, all of our salaries start at 110,000$. So....not a valid reason, but for this corporation, it does provide pretty decent compensation so its workers.
  14. Under the Conservatives, no, I don't believe they'd hike it. Under the liberals and ndp I'm sure they'd raise them. And then when they do, I know exactly where I'm moving to.
  15. You do realize these corporations are the ones paying for people to work right?
  16. You mean the mandate from 2011? He got close to 40%
  17. I disagree with you (about the long election hurting him). Plus, most Conservative supporters I know, including my family, have already voted.
  18. To me the Conservatives have done well. 10 year reign , if it all goes to shit, 2% off GST, introduction of $5500/year TFSA, eh we're ahead. If the LPC's win, time to take out the popcorn to watch them destroy Canada, and if it all goes to shit I'm moving out, I get full relo and all, plus $ for the inconvenience. Chances are it won't come to that, but the Lefties will get to take it up the butt while they call us righties morons, idiots with low IQ's, yet we seem to be making top $. Hmm, how does that work again? As O'Leary says, the joy about money, is that you either have it or you don't.
  19. 11 days to go.
  20. They do say its a small world huh?
