  1. That's a good point. That completely went over my head. I guess they were forced to address it in the French debates in French but that's about it.
  2. Because Unifor said so Last week they said 26k jobs would be lost. Today they said 20k jobs will be lost. And an independent study done by UoT said that 3/4 of 1% of jobs would be affected. To hell with Unions. I'm not unionized. I have my job because of what's in my head. I don't need some union to protect me. #entitlement.
  3. The PM announced via a FB live session that Canada has requested the other 11 countries release the full text ASAP. He thinks he should be able to get it in a few days for all Canadians to see.
  4. Yes. There were provisions for this already. War crimes, treason etc.
  5. I didn't know the auto industry in Canada exported over 85% of stuff we make in Canada prior to learning about the TPP!
  6. Are you insinuating the Liberal party has 100% integrity, 100% accountability and 100% respect for democracy? Do I really need to remind the left about the Liberal's 13 year record?
  7. And you have never ever lied?
  8. Far more accountable than the Liberal track record. I can pick on so much crap that the Liberals campaigned on where they backtracked .Own it.
  9. This is Unifor crap. Last week they said it was 26,000, this week they said 20,000. A professor at U of T looked into this and crunched the #, he said it was going to be 3/4 of 1% of jobs affected. If you ask me to cite this, go watch Power and Politics. I'm too lazy to dig up the study. About 5:10pm EST tonight.
  10. Yeah, the CPC are the ONLY ones who would use every trick they can. What a joke. You Liberals all paint your parties as being so clean and innocent, and yet the Liberals are responsible for one of the biggest scandals in the history of Canada. Give me a break.
  11. You're all wrong. The Green will get a majority and crush all of us.
  12. Trade minister on Power and Politics said that they are pushing hard to be able to release details before the election. He said it was very probable. (about 10 minutes ago)
  13. LOL. You guys troll all the time, and I go and troll and you literally take my stupid post seriously? Ok, you all made my day Now you Liberals all know what it's like to constantly hear garbage thrown against Harper. Anyways, back at the topic at hand. -- The poll, conducted between Oct. 2 and Oct. 5, surveyed 1,441 people online and found that 33 per cent of decided voters would vote for the Conservative Party, while 32 per cent would vote for the Liberal Party. - xclusive Global News Ipsos polls are protected by copyright. 14. So now we're resorting to personal attacks? Wow.
  15. No one does, but that's my suspicion. I have also been a student under Trudeau. I remember his arrogance as a teacher very well. E.g. He used to flaunt to the other hot female teacher how he was Trudeau Sr's son. I remember that like it was yesterday.
  16. "the truly poor" were my exact words.
  17. At what point did I say he was an idiot? I used the word "arrogant".
  18. The difference in my opinion and yours is that I truly think that Justin is arrogant/foolish enough to never work with the Tory government in any scenario. I can see the NDP reneging on their word, but I don't see how Justin would ever support Harper, in any way.
  19. How does the poor (the truly poor) even get a GST rebate cheque. You think they even file income taxes??
  20. I never said charging visitors a head tax was ever a good idea.
  21. Because it's election time. I've posted about this already. I am completely against this whole payout thing. If the Conservatives were in a majority for another 4 years and had the mandate, I bet you they wouldn't have done this.
  22. It forces mom and pop shops to compete at a global level. It's good for consumers, and is a part of life.
  23. I disagree with you re: GST. An increase in consumption sales tax is that it affects the poor much more than the rich.
  24. This may blow some people's minds, but I agree with this. I'm more in favor of a Conservative minority than a majority, for this reason above. It's sad the Liberals and the NDP refuse to work with Harper. Given that, I'd have to hope for a Conservative majority but I know it won't happen.
  25. Trudeau and Mulcair have both vowed to not work with the Tories. You mean they'll renege on their word? <as always?>
