    Fully am aware of domestication! Domestication actually LIMITS/RESTRICTS and REDUCES wild life! Not necessarily writing that canned hunting is a good thing. But NOBODY has the MORAL HIGHER AUTHORITY to impose their ethics upon how others may choose to earn a living! Yes that's right! Those people in South Africa whom choose to maintain a canned hunting ranch are earning a living and generating income! That IS THEIR RIGHT! Are you saying those people do not have a right to earn a living for themselves and their families? WWWTT

But it was all cleared to make way for human advancement/development. So where's the effort to buy up farms and land to return to the wild in NA and/or Europe?     I don't think that the media coined term "1 week=lifetime" really means that much anymore or it's being used incorrectly. I believe the term was first used to summarize the devastating effects that a bad comment or sudden disclosure of an bad event can have in an election campaign. Or the positive effect that a good debater can have! An excellent example would be Rachel Notley's superb debate performance that hurdled the ANDP to an astounding victory! WWWTT

    Big difference would be the money and US support for Israel. But I believe this is slowly changing now that the US is the #2 world economy behind China. And with India climbing at a rate to surpass the US by 10 years, the US is very inclined in changing their might is right approach to "lets all be buddies now like as if nothing happened in the past" WWWTT

    Ya and my comments on this thread ALL revolve around this! Why the huge concern over the environment/ecosystem and wildlife in developing non white western countries? Why? Many issues right here at home, but apart from seal protests and some environmental issues, pretty much squat! WWWTT

    First off thanks for the link. It clearly shows that people should be switching (or at least moving slowly towards) or substituting some of their diets with vegans/fruits/grains etc etc. Insects are also another excellent source of protein that is EXTREMELY neglected! But going back to the natives, they themselves should be educated more in respecting intelligence in other creatures. If they were, then perhaps they would voluntarily withdraw from hunting the most magnificent being of planet Earth. WWWTT

I give a ratt's ass about the Inuit killing a 250 year old Bow head whale to eat! Those sentient beings should be protected by the stiffest penalties of Canadian law!     I don't really disagree with this comment. The point I'm trying to make is that it's always African nations, the rain forest nations, and basically non white western nations that these alleged crimes are occurring that seem to only garnish western attention. Lots and lots of examples happening right here right now in western nations, but squat concern! Is raising a pig for slaughter any different than raising an animal to hunt any different?     Laws in Canada also allow farmers to shoot and kill animals that come on their property to kill livestock, chickens etc. When I lived on my parents farm in Caledon, a neighbors chickens were getting eaten by another neighbors German sheppard dog that they would let lose from time to time. They were warned several times that if that dog comes around again, it's going to die! And sure enough, that dog that liked to hunt chickens even though it's owner gave it enough food, got the bullet! Rumour has it that when the OPP were called, the owner of the dead dog got a stiff warning and reminder of Canadian law! WWWTT

    True that the Inuit hunting of the Bow head Whales are for food. But it is done for native traditions. Many people from western nations also hunt for traditional purposes. My parents are from Sao Miguel Acores Portugal. Whaling was a deeply rooted tradition there at one time. I've even seen a large bronze statue (maybe in Capeles?) in tribute to the past whaling practice.But the Portuguese recognized that whales are an intelligent being that has the same right to exist as we have. The Inuit have other reliable sources of food and the hunting of Bow head Whales MUST stop immediately! We agree that this lust for killing must stop regardless of where it occurs. I'm disappointed that the finger of blame is always pointed at other sovereign nations, seldom at western one. One exemption would be Spanish/Portuguese bull fighting. WWWTT

    Thanks for proving my point! But again, you still have a backwards biased view! The Japanese WERE western ALLIES in WW1! So were the Chinese. But the failure in western leadership in international negotiations regarding treaties at that time led to the Pacific arena of WW2 and more importantly to the Chinese, the Japanese invasions (the Japanese invasion of China actually started well before WW1). Japan was an aggressive military expansion country at the time, exactly the same like Israel of today!!!! Russia also helped China very much in this time. Chinese, Vietnamese, Koreans, Philipeanos, etc etc actually helped the Americans open up more fronts against the Japanese. Regardless, the Iran deal is a success that saves face for all involved nations, this is a deal only China can lead, America rides China's coat tails. WWWTT
