False! But also true. Japan was already in talks with a surrender. But it was also with then Soviet Union and may have looked like the Soviets would occupy some Japanese islands. This was unacceptable to the Americans, not the Soviets, Chinese, Koreans, Vietnamese French etc etc etc Most of all the Japanese! WWWTT

You made the claim that there are no requirements to be an MP. Now an MP can be an senator where all the requirement is to be appointed by the GG. According to some members here, Canada is run by "consensus". During an election in Canada, the lower house is dissolved therefore there are no elected MP's left until after the election results and are sworn in etc, etc. I have also tried to research this grey area period and found the Canadian government very reluctant to get into details about this. As far as being experts on the US. More people in the world follow the US and there are more people in the US as opposed to Canada. So therefore it is very likely there are more "experts" about US politics than Canadian politics. You really find that funny? WWWTT

No I don't need a link, but you do if you want to back up your claim. Parliament has been dissolved. Therefore all those sitting in the lower house are no longer an MP and lose their titles. We still have the upper house and they are now the sitting members of parliament whom direct the country. WWWTT
