  1. Once again, because our Judges know better. Thankfully we have Judges in this country that can see past Harpers steaming pile of legislation.
  2. You can smell the desperation all the way out here on the coast. Even through all the smoke.
  3. I don't have to demonstrate anything, The bill leaves it up to a judges personal interpretation. Luckily for the CPC we have judges in this country who think things through more so than Harper and his cronies in Parliament. I mean it's so bad even Justin Trudeau will support it.
  4. What's hilarious is that the CPC writes legislation that they themselves can be charged under. Thankfully we have supreme court judges in this country that are reasonable beyond what the CPC tries to pass through parliament. There is no hypocrisy in my argument, just hypocrisy in your unending support for a government that cares nothing for you. If all you guys want is security, just go to prison. You get a bed, fed and will be guarded around the clock. The only thing you will be giving up is your personal freedom, although you CPC supporters don't seem to care much for that anyways.
  5. Maybe you should read it. Within that wording you could easily stretch it to include both broadcasts and attack ads. It's this kind of loose wording that makes people uncomfortable with this bill.
  6. Technically if they wanted to, they could charge them under C51. Same as The Conservatives. The way the bill is worded you could without a doubt charge a lot of people, probably a fair portion of the country if they so wanted to. Hence the problem with the bill.
  7. BTBAM @ the Fidelitorium live Not quite Tool. But something entirely different,
  8. Tool doesn't count, Tool is in another category of music known as Tool. Inhabited only by Tool.
  9. Again, the attack ads are not why Trudeau slipped in the polls. His direct support of bill c-51 is why he slipped in the polls. The attack ads really haven't accomplished amything but annoy people.
  10. I'm listening to the best progressive metal band in the history of progressive metal.
  11. This isn't seinfeld. Harper has never made this election about ideology. He makes it about personal attacks. If he even just once used an add to attack a parties policies rather than the parties leader he may get somewhere. Thankfully Canadians are smarter than he gives them credit for and they see right through his half-hearted attempts and political spin.
  12. This. This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen you post on this forum. Haprer cares not for ideology. He'd rather attack people, not ideas.
  13. I hear talk every single day about the upcoming election, since last fall. People are talking about it, a lot. Unlike the 2011 election. This one has a lot of buzz surrounding it.
  14. That's true. I travel a large portion of the country on a monthly basis. Working with people as young as 19 to retirement age. But hey don't take my word for it. See what happens come election day.
  15. You think the conservatives have supported any of these? It's in fact quite the opposite.
  16. I don't have a guy yet, as I will remain impartial to MOST parties come election day. I know many people as well, in fact I work with many thousands of people on jobsites from Vancouver Island to Western borders of Manitoba. We have all been paying attention. Many of us are fed up with Harper and many of us have been paying attention for the last 4 years. Maybe those who you think are "normal" are really the abnormal of our society.
  17. I hate the provision of funding for any school founded by religion. Public schools should be free of any and all religious beliefs. Want to inject religions into learning? Do it on your own dime. Otherwise we open the floodgates to any number of religious beliefs being forced upon children as early as 5. This is not the way forward as a society.
  18. Correction: Partisan conservative voters don't care yet. The rest of us have been paying attention for the last 4 years.
  19. It's over there because they are beginning to pull themselves out of poverty, though the gap is widening at an alarming rate in China, that and they have extremely relaxed controls on corporations. Something like 30 million people have gone from extreme poverty to mildy wealthy in the last 20 years. That's almost the population of Canada becoming wealthy in 2 decades. It boasts well for their service economy as well, more money is floating around that country than anyone could imagine right now.
  20. This is directed at Harper and the CPC right?
  21. Obbiously you haven't heard of the fair elections act?
  22. It's hard to guage polls, they often do not take into account the youth vote. If there is one voter demographic that is pollarized against Harper, it is the youth. They will turn out in record numbers this fall. Mark my words.
  23. Harper has done far to much damage to his own campaign. He's waking a sleeping dragon at the polls. I have a feeling we will have record voter turnout this election.
