  1. The NYT interviewed 50 women and obviously went with the 6 worst stories they could scare up. What did they get? At least one woman outraged over the misinterpretation (likely others) of Trump offing up a bath suit at a pool party. Trumps dad recommends steak over fish and Trump, we learn is one of the first to promote women to the highest positions in his company, meaning there is no "glass ceiling" in his company. Wow, hard hitting stuff PS. I think I'd recommend steak over fish too.
  2. I'll say it one more time for the slower (not you, of course) folks, I think everyone should use whatever amenities they choose. To hell with the women, religious folk, the children or anyone who doesn't want to mix genders in the shower, just let the junk all swing out.
  3. Yeah, sending out hidden emails is unimportant. If they were so unimportant, then why has she hidden them. If her speeches don't say anything, why are they hidden. It's only unimportant because MSNBC tells you so. But, Is Trumps infidelity any more important than Bills? We don't care about that - do we? Let's be honest, the only thing Hillary has going for her, is that she's a woman. Any male politician with her baggage would've been outed long ago. It's her only play and the Dems and their helpers are gonna play that for everything it's worth. She knows she has to keep the women vote, and if she does, that'll be all she needs. Their only play against Trump is to make sure women stay away from him and hide her record with women.
  4. Really? Are we allowed to use this language? Anyway, when allowing other people to use different amenities, businesses weren't forced to build something new for them. It is funny, first we were segregated, then everyone wanted to use the same things, now people are wanting certain segregation again.
  5. Are you suggesting that I'm against shared washrooms? I think I've stated that the best way around the issue is to allow anybody access to any washroom, change room or shower. Maybe you're too preoccupied with what you think that you're not paying attention to what I'm saying.
  6. Oh please, there's any army of reporters looking for dirt on the guy CNN,NYT, Post and MSNBC etc. is almost entirely devoted to slagging him. What have you seen these people do about Hillary? What abut her treatment of women? Why is Benghazi and the email scandal being downplayed. What about her role in Iraq? What about her actions in the Clinton presidency that has led to less employment and more blacks being imprisoned than ever before? One could go on and on about not only her character, but her many failures as a politician. Oh, did I mention the money, the Clinton foundation or the speaking engagements to wall street? Yeah, none of that is as important as Trump calling Rosie a pig. Or, heaven forbid Trump gives a woman a bathing suit at a pool party - the horror!
  7. Look, I've got nothing against trans people, but this law isn't gonna change diddly squat for trans people. In fact, I think It has the ability to help more politicians than trans gender people.
  8. It's all simple optics. If you discriminate and not hire a person, not allow them in a school, not allow them residency, beat them up, not pay them the same etc etc., then you are discriminating against a human being and it's already on the books. Nothing will fundamentally change....unless the gov't wants to give trans people something extra that the ordinary human being doesn't get. You can't legislate away giggles and whispers. It's what we all live with.
  9. So, Is it currently legal to beat up a trans person?
  10. That's exactly my point! And, i'm pretty sure i explained it at a level that's easily understandable. Once someone says they're transgender, end of argument. Therefore, the only way around the bathroom/change room issue is to simply allow everyone regardless of gender to use whatever space they choose. Because really, from a legal standpoint, no "man" or person could ever be charged with entering whatever change room, bath room or shower they choose.
  11. If, like cybercoma suggested, transgender people are being denied an education, then of course a law should protect a person (any person) from that type of discrimination. I'm just not so sure that is happening in Canada.
  12. It doesn't specifically mention people with bad hair, socks and sandals or overweight people wearing spandex either. You just sort of assume that It's already covered in sections 2 and 15.
  13. Not to get too off topic, but usually when the police pull someone over for a weird reason or "misunderstanding", it's usually because they wanted to check that person out but had no real reason to do so. Buddy with the Bruins flag, maybe raised suspicion for something else and the police just wanted a little looksy.
  14. I might add that it's also allowable to de-transition back to your original gender identity, and because there is no set time limit for this to happen, surely a non-gendered or questioning person who is using the "female" shower could transition back to their original gender shortly after said shower. Essentially, no one could ever be charged with a crime or asked to vacate a certain bathroom or change room. So, back my original thought, transgender can mean anything, everything or nothing at all....and no one can legally say otherwise.
  15. How weak! I knew you wouldn't answer.
  16. You don't require meds, hormones, surgery...you don't even have to be gay or dress like the opposite sex. You don't even have to claim to be the opposite sex, you don't need a doctor or psychologist to back up your claims, in fact all you really have to do to be transgender is suggest that you question or haven't defined your gender yet - and maybe not even that. Is there something nuanced that I'm not getting?
  17. You just won't answer the question. Let's say Trump was lying about ISIS pictures on phones - OK! Now, If there was pictures of ISIS flags seen on a refugees phone by anybody allowing refugees into Canada, would that be a red flag to you? P.S - The man-baby thing is getting so over done, you're starting to embarrass yourself using it in every post.
  18. Exactly, it can mean anything or everything...therefore, logic states that it can also mean nothing at all. If it is whatever I decide it is, then everybody and anybody can use any washroom or change room they desire - depending on nothing more than how they feel.
  19. Are you suggesting that the media is giving Trump a free pass?
  20. The issue that I wonder about is this; what exactly is "transgender"? I remember that we used to have transvestites and transexuals and the 2 were not categorized in the same way.
  21. Dude, I've never stated wether he is making it up or not. I've asked a simple question of you - that's all. I'm not saying there has or hasn't been ISIS flags/photos on any refugee cell phones, but if there was, would that raise a red flag over an individual in your mind? So, do you have an answer?
  22. First off, before your edit, I thought that maybe you agree about the ISIS flag and wether it would be a red flag, then in true fashion you edit into something very weird and completely off topic.
  23. I'll openly admit to using a women's washroom when the mens is full, but only the single user ones. The type you find at gas stations etc. If someone looks at me strange, i'm quite prepared to claim my rights as an "ever questioning person of undetermined gender". I have yet to use the big open multi user women's bathrooms though.
  24. I'm not saying there has or hasn't been ISIS flags/photos on any refugee cell phones, but if there was, would that raise a red flag over an individual in your mind?
  25. Burner phone or not, I'm sure that seeing a refugee phone with an ISIS flag on it would send up a red flag to even the most liberal of person...right?
