Personally, I don't think she hates Israelis, I think she's an enabler. She wants Israel to accept everything the terrorists demand, because she believes that is the easiest route to peace. It's obviously an idealistic view because even faced with all the facts, she can't quite (or won't) connect the dots as to where those actions will end up 2,5 or 10 years down the road. I imagine a parent that lets their kids have ice cream for dinner and wear pyjamas to school because it's just easier than dealing with the child.

A woman who knows her true value will only put up with a man's nonsense for so long, you either get right or get left. I believe this comment to be radical feminism....and misandy.

I think he's suggesting that feminists come in varying degrees of feminism. Some feminists are bad and some are worse, but i'm sure you'd agree, they're all the same.

No sympathy for the fathers?

Really? Me too! I think that with the whole "sisterhood" thing women would care more about women in oppressive countries/religions, but they're not. I can't figure it out. It seems to be conservative men who want to free these women, but the womens groups of the western world say (or do) nothing.

Really? I'm sure that some woman dragged into a bush, slapped around, had her clothes ripped off and raped at knife point, is a little more traumatized than some girl who woke up realizing she'd been slipped a ruffie.

AGW/CC Deniers & "Fake-Skeptics" - their mindset

Don't be too sure that there aren't fossil fuel companies funding certain NGO's. -
For the record, I'm not against liberals. I voted Cretien. What I don't like is Trudeau, yeah he's sexy and cool and wants to legalize marijuana, but god help us if that's what we're voting for.
-
On question #1, Yes!, The Americans know it too - Are they smart enough to not make the same mistake? I doubt it!....#2 - I don't need to soften anything. If Trudeau wins, it'll become one of the worst days ever for Canada.

If you can't answer that question, they you are really trying hard to not take sides.

withdrawal of Israel Defense Forces troops and allowing farmers to work their land up to the fence; So Hamas can build their tunnels closer to the Israeli border for an easier strike release of all prisoners from the Gilad Shalit swap who have been rearrested; All? How many more terrorists is that? an end to the siege and opening of the crossings; So Hamas can sneak terrorists and weapons into Gaza just a little easier opening of a port and airport under UN management; An Airport? So they can stock fighter jets? expansion of the fishing zone; international supervision of the Rafah crossing; So Hamas' Iranian pals can visit easier. an Israeli pledge to a 10-year cease-fire and Just relax while we restock - you can trust Hamas closure of Gazas air space to Israeli aircraft; What don't they want Israel to see? permits to Gaza residents to visit Jerusalem and pray at the Al-Aqsa mosque; ...With bombs strapped to their chests and an Israeli pledge not to interfere in internal Palestinian politics such as the unity government; So Hamas or whatever despot regime can take over with impunity opening Gazas industrial zone. So Hamas can properly manufacture what? Bombs, rockets...Maybe just textiles

AGW/CC Deniers & "Fake-Skeptics" - their mindset

If a group is studying anything from Dung Beetles to Polar Bears, they know they'll get more funding and more support if they're studying the "effects" of GW on whatever their specialty is. That alone makes their finding (and motives) unreliable. -
Different handshakes represent different things. The up high (locking thumbs) to a colleague, friend or someone in a casual setting - "I'm cool and I think you are too". The traditional handshake should be used in any business setting or someone of higher stature such as Father-in -Law, New boss, Banker, Lawyer etc - "I'm serious and I think you are too". Fist bumps only after you, your buddy or your side has scored - "we're too cool".

I think Hamas controls a lot of the media out of Gaza. Also, A lot of these "U.N" people in Gaza are actually Hamas who are simply employed by the U.N.
-
Do you think Hamas is as bothered by the number of civilian deaths as you are?
-
Any time someone says something is better or worse than something else, they are immediatly discriminating against the other. Many people can't handle that.
-
Trudeau is nothing but a name - that's it. The Liberals know (we all do - just look at Obama) that it's not about politics, it's about the cult of celebrity and the libs know that their best chance next election is to put forward a recognizable name. The US elected a man president because he was black, next they'll elect Hillary because she's a woman.

Assuming that one believes that those are their demands, it looks like there is some starting points. However, Hamas and the palestinians have said and shown that they want much more. Also, most of those demands make Israel more susceptible to attack from Gaza.
-
That's sickening! However, no helmet laws would be cool.

Yes, what Jacee doesn't understand is that she's the one being led down the garden path by Hamas. She is sympathizing with them because they are putting their children in harms way and manipulating the media to photograph it. Everyone says Hamas is winning the PR war, why? because numbskulls by into it. Hey Jacee, you want save Palastinian children, stop supporting what Hamas is doing. Hamas thrives on the heartstrings of young western leftist women.
-
OK, you're obviously pro-Hamas, you've made that clear. I shouldn't have used the word "side"...I suppose. But, the question remains - and it's for anyone to answer, If the casualty numbers were equal and the tactics were equal, would you be as much against Israel as you are? P.S - You still haven't answered my last question.
-
So, if there was no civilian casualties, what side would you be on?
-
So, why'd you bring Bush into it? Anyway, this is a scandal - just like every scandal gets as big as the opposition and media want to make it. Remember Adrienne Clarkson's million dollar wine tasting vacations? This stuff happens all the time, if you let it bother you, you'll hate everybody. Fact is; Harper is the best PM we've had in many years - we are finally being taken seriously by the international community....And, yes that is important. As I said, it all comes down to economy and if that's good everything else falls into place. You'd like Justin - i assume. Why? Because he'll legalize marijuana? Far out man! But, I prefer to stay away from wedge issues and focus on what is good for ALL Canadians.
-
Bush didn't create anything, Clinton and the democrats did when they decided that everyone deserved to own a home (affirmative action y'know), then allowed the loans to be sold. EVERY republican begged them to not allow such a thing - it's all on youtube via C-Span. Bush was simply the guy in power when the eventual collapse transpired.
-
If you want to dig up dirt, it can be done on any political party, I hardly think the NDP or Liberals can take any sort of high ground. In Canada, it's all about economy and if the economy is good, it's good for everyone. I think Harper is doing a great job. When Obama and the Euro's were all panicking about the financial meltdown, Harper stood his ground and were ALL the better for it.
