  1. I guarantee that there is more to it than what is reported. If it is as written, it can only mean that Hamas is out of rockets.
  2. I'm not interpreting anything (unless you're talking about Jacee). I'm just pointing out what should be - and is obvious. If you people want to interpret Jihad (or any part of it) as loving or spiritual and pretend that they are like Buddhists or something, you're totally wrong.
  3. Ok, so you checked Wiki. So, now it's about interpretation. "The "greater jihad" is the inner struggle by a believer to fulfill his religious duties." What this means is the struggle for a Muslam to accept his place and duties of giving himself and his family to Allah - meaning "prepare to give your life for your belief". Which should speak for itself. "The "lesser jihad" is the physical struggle against the enemies of Islam." So, after you come to terms with your inner struggle, now it's time to prove yourself. Now, to get Hamas (and their ideas of Jihad) into context, you need to read their charter P.S - I'm really shocked that you (and well, every woman) focus on Jihad and put no thought into how Hamas (and most Muslims) treat their women and girls. PPS - This situation isn't about freedom from oppression. This is a group that Arabs designate a terrorist group. It takes an IQ of about 65 to see that Hamas couldn't care less about their people.
  4. Maybe some of these people would have more tolerance for Israel if they locked their own people out of their bomb shelters.
  5. Oh, so Islam, Extremists, the Koran and Jihadists are a new development - brought on by Israel? Sorry, my bad!
  6. I don't seem to have ability to link. Just check out their charter, it's all there large as life. I think if people read this document beginning to end, they'll come to realize exactly what they (Hamas) want and why Israel (or the west) can't just come to a settlement with these people. I don't know if you have kids, but if you do and you are living in Gaza, you'd be expected to raise your son to die for the cause.
  7. So, they're getting exactly what they want and you're getting what you want - what's the problem? One dude on TV compared Hamas to zombies, they have no strategy, no end game, they can't really win a field battle but they just keep coming.
  8. As far as Hamas is concerned, a woman's sole purpose in life is to raise future jihadists.
  9. Some of you guys are too literal when it comes to the word recognition. Anyway, as I said earlier, it's all about Jerusalem. Israel has control of it and the Palestinians want it - simple as that. Hamas just wants to kill jews.
  10. So, you don't believe in the jury system?
  11. She's gonna get leniency, no one disputes that. It's a matter of how lenient the judge will be. In the cases that i've seen, the criminals tend to get about 4 years, some up to 7 years. In my opinion, what this woman did was in line with those getting the 4 year sentence. I would think that is adequate...maybe tack on one more year for basic lack of remorse or empathy. As for an acquittal, I think thats just stupid. A jury of 12 people convicted her after hearing all the evidence, and for a judge to overturn their decision would render our entire legal system a joke.
  12. You guys talk about fairness, proportion and whatnot in fighting, yet you support the side that sets off rockets then hides behind their children.
  13. We all agree that she was negligent, we all know that this negligence resulted in 2 deaths...so, the only thing really in dispute is wether criminal negligence causing death is actually punishable - I can't believe that so many people think that such a crime should be dealt with by giving out a fine or simply nothing at all.
  14. The leftists hate Jews and will always make it their fault no matter who attacks them.
  15. I don't really care about "proportion", "fairness in war" or "equality" when it comes to Hamas. The palestinians start this every time and Israel reacts the same way every time, and the people of palestine know they are being used as shields. Hamas can save hundreds (maybe thousands)of palestinian civilians by simply stopping shooting rockets into Israel. They don't want to negotiate any settlement that does not give them sole control of Jerusalem. Nothing new is happening here.
  16. It's all about Jerusalem! The palastinians can be offered anything and everything, but they will will not stop until they have Jerusalem.
  17. Extra credit for recruiting feminists and feminizing men is another example of social engineering. What would happen if extra credit was handed out for men to grow beards and women to wear high heals and mini shirts?
  18. Careless - not giving sufficient attention or thought to avoiding harm or errors. "she had been careless and had left the window unlocked" synonyms: inattentive, incautious, negligent, absentminded, remiss; Ok, so you agree she was careless (or negligent), she did cause the deaths of 2 people so...why should they overturn a verdict that reflects exactly that.
  19. Why do people want to draw similarities between natural occurrences such as heavy traffic or emergent situations such as breakdowns etc? None of these things happened, if they had happened, had she been in heavy traffic or her car broke down, i'd be in her corner, but that isn't the case. The issue is that she willfully stopped her car for no good reason in a passing lane endangering many people and causing the death of 2 people. I can't believe how many people here actually feel sorry for her! Wow!
  20. Frankly, I'm getting sick of Hamas and the Palastinians. It's always the same, they launch missiles from schoolhouses or markets and when Israel has had enough and fires back, they run to the international community and claim victim status. Israel gives in and once the Palastinians have restocked enough rockets, they repeat the process. I really hope Israel deals with this once and for all.
  21. She was reckless and a jury of 12 people said as much. "Be it ducks or a person. (if it was a human, she would have been cleared and I dont get why then becuase its ducks she is guilty" Because a humans life if more valuable than a ducks life.
  22. Ive got school age kids and to me, it's just summer. I see these teachers (usually 4 or 5) sitting drinking coffee and I have to remind myself that there is a strike.
  23. Speeding was not the cause of the crash, the cause was the vehicle PARKED in the fast lane. Could he have avoided it? Maybe, but I've been there before where the car pulls out and someone is stopped (usually turning left)and you have very little response time. I'd say he had maybe 2-3 seconds to stop before impact, going slower maybe slightly better than 3 seconds. If a car runs a red light, it doesn't matter that the victim was speeding and could've prevented it, If a car runs through an intersection and hits a pedestrian, it's not their fault for not getting across quicker. If we're playing the "if" game, what if city workers just left a concrete partition in the middle of the passing lane, is it still the motorcyclists fault? I doubt it! In fact, the city would be held 100% liable and we'd all rally behind the biker. What is tripping people up is the fact that this is a girl, and ducks are involved - as weird as that sounds.
  24. Everybody keeps saying that "if her car was broken down", or if it was another obstacle. And...if that was the case then sure, absolve her of wrongdoing and call it unfortunate. Well, it wasn't. It was her that made the conscience decision to stop the car in a passing lane. If she had swerved into the bike, if it was a moose and she was afraid for her life - then maybe. But, none of that happened, the accident happened because she parked her car in a passing lane - plain and simple.
