  1. It is possible for 2 completely different people (or types of people) to want the exact same thing but for different reasons.
  2. That's a bit of a stereotype. Just because Trump is rich, doesn't mean he doesn't have many of the same interests as we do. Trump has already damaged many business arrangements, and has shown that he just doesn't care about kowtowing under pressure from even his own business partners. He wants to feel that the country is safe, he wants to have freedom of movement within his own country, he wants good infrastructure, he wants America and americans to be the producers of product...not beholden to other countries, he wants to destry ISIS, but doesn't want to spend trillions on other wars and governing the middle east, and he wants america to be self sufficient when it comes to energy. For a year now, people have been saying 'No, the people don't want that - Trump is a fool for saying that - he's finished! But the fact is; he is in step with what many people want, obviously more than the media can even acknowledge. Each and every day, Trump is shown to be on the mark, while Obama and Hillary seem out in left field. ....And, if you lefties think it's just a few backwoods hillbillies supporting him - look again!
  3. Keeping First Nations on rural or isolated reserves is in itself genocide. Not a quick genocide, but it's clearly contributing to killing off of their population.
  4. Stating that she was "combative and uncooperative" is an opinion. And in the police officer's opinion, that's exactly what she was being. You can be indicted on anything, but it's gonna be hard to prove that he lied.
  5. That's the nice thing about Trump, he's not beholden to anybody. Obama is pretty much stunted due to owing every group imaginable, but Trump doesn't owe anybody - and won't.
  6. So, now your suggesting that it didn't happen? That 100 german women are lying? I find that a stretch. I'd say it's more likely that given the state of things, that the germans would like to not press charges and hope it goes away, hope people like you profess that it didn't happen. The victims of this will likely be "victimized twice" - as they say.
  7. With each passing day (Paris, Sweden, Germany etc), It gets harder and harder to deny what Trump is saying.
  8. I love this line, I'm gonna keep it in my signature if that's all right.
  9. I'm back! 32 days ago I used a profanity towards one of Marcus' posts (not at him...at his post) and now that MH has allowed me back, I want to formally apologize to Marcus and promise that I'll do my best to not allow certain comments to incite me into using foul language

      On Guard for Thee

I've been cast into the shadows of the forum rules myself from time to time, so let me say welcome back.

  10. Not true! There are moderate Muslims - I actually know a few...and based on their lifestyles, they would be killed by the extremists too. We know "extremists" are the minority, but that doesn't matter when the moderates (the majority) are either sympathizers or indifferent. You're the one playing the old "it's all or nothing" game. When we talk about Nazi Germany, we tend to blanket all the germans as Nazis (and yes, we all do it). So, why don't you figure out just how many germans were Radical Nazis, moderate Nazis, sympathizers, or simply indifferent germans? It might surprise you just how few radicals are needed to take control of a country or society.
  11. Point 1...Different countries report things differently.
  12. So, "abrogation" to you is simply the number of legitimate jihadists in formed armies? Wow! Would you agree that with such low numbers, they should easily be dealt with?
  13. Well, Obamacare notwithstanding.
  14. I would take the USA system with their rates and lower taxes over Canada' system with our rates and taxes any day.
  15. So, how many Muslims do accept the concept of abrogation? Just spitball a number that we can work with.
  16. We don't actually know when they'll "murder us all", but history does show a pattern of what they'll do and when. I posted the percentage numbers and what Muslims do when those numbers reach certain plateaus . I don't recall all the numbers off hand, but protests for Sharia usually begin at about 3.5-4% of the population. One would only have to study the events in Europe to accurately predict what will inevitably happen here. We're about 3% now, USA is at about 1% - US will take more terrorist attacks because they're the bigger target and the actual Muslim numbers are higher, but Muslims in Canada with the higher percentage of population will start to protest and revolt sooner (Unless we simply just give them what they want). If one looks at immigration and especially birth rates, France, Belgium, Austria, Sweden and Germany have about 20-25 years (1 generation) until they are formally Muslim countries - UK and the rest of western Europe will have about 30-35 years. Now, you might say "Hal, using your numbers, the Muslim populations of those countries at the very worst will be 20 -25% - hardley a majority". Yes, that's right, but how many Nazi's were there? How many Romans controlled the world? Certainly less than 25%. Look at what Isreal deals with day after day with less than 20% Muslims - and they know whats going on - while we stay in our "happy place".
  17. So, you clearly cannot answer my question. Maybe you should not post things that you haven't thought through.
  18. No! The question may be too tough for you, let me dumb it down a bit; To use your words, why would the people being interviewed be surprised when the Bible reads like the quran?
  19. So, why do people believe it's the quran and not the Bible - besides being told it's the quran?
  20. I think what we need to consider is a law that requires people to register their bombs.
  21. There you go, giving them excuses that they don't even want. Of course it's about our lifestyle, Sure, they mention crusader countries but also that Paris is the capital of prostitution and vice. We know how they feel about homosexuality and women. Us men are unbelievers, so they hate us too. It's all western countries and also those Muslims that they don't feel believe strongly enough. They've told us over and over again, yet you refuse to listen to them. What do they have to do to make you believe them? Sheesh!
  22. Not allowing somebody gun ownership and placing somebody on a no fly list are 2 different things. Just because someone shouldn't have a gun, doesn't mean they shouldn't be allowed to fly.
  23. "Gun culture" is the problem in the US, victim culture is. Nearly every person who has done this has claimed victim status. I suspect we'll find out this person(s), felt they were a victim of something.
  24. Mad Max was painful to watch. I tried to watch it, my friends raved about it and were watching it for their second time. I don't know how long it was, but it seemed like several hours. I walked away and made dinner and when I got back, it didn't seem like I missed a thing. As for Bond, I think Daniel Craig is the best Bond since Connery, but the movie - C'mon, they made Bond look like he couldn't do a think without the woman, then the whole group (M, Q, Moneypenny) all got together to fight the bad guy? It felt like one of those kids movies where they get together and co-operate to thwart the bad guys. And, to top it off, Bond chooses love (of a near stranger) over killing the bad guy. WTF? What a waste of a Bond movie. My fear is that political correctness ruins the Star Wars series as well.
