Can I ask a question about Cultural Appropriation?

Man, I hope top buns are next. It creeps me out seeing these effeminate males ( I won't say men) wearing top buns. And , it's culturally insensitive. -

The yoga instructors I know are kinda hippieish, spiritual types and considering the university angle, I don't think it's a stretch that the yoga instructor might lean politically left- maybe even liberal. This means that the liberals have likely made their box so tiny, that they're having to turn on themselves and each other now. -

If the issue is about a dominant culture abusing the culture of an inferior culture as cyber pointed out, are we just accepting that white culture is superior to all the others? If we can't do yoga, would that suggest that Indians, Hindus, Buddhists etc are all inferior to us? And, yhose making these decisions, seem to be white liberals, are white liberals in their own way telling these people that they are in fact inferior and even victims of the white race? Will we do away with karate because we feel the Japanese are an inferior culture? No more Swedish massages...or is that ok - swedes are white. -
Let's try and find a relevant timeline we can work with, I think 500+ years is too long, so I propose 10-40 years, although 2 years is probably sufficient enough to know what they're all about

Yes, the crusades. We get it! You want to know why Islam doesn't work in Canada? To quote Justin in his obviously pre- arranged question, "because it's 2015".

I'm sure you'll find some periodicals that will try to explain it away, but the facts are the facts. Church folk (those hateful christians) give nearly 50% more in money and volunteer time than the ever so evolved atheists. So, all these cliches that you live by; Cons are mean, greedy, heartless, fearful etc etc. are all unfounded.

Trudeau had to move the deadline...or fail - that was obvious. What concerns me a little is that it was such common sense and when given the perfect "get out of jail free" card, being the Paris attack, he didn't take it and instead doubled down. Conservatives simply used common sense, while all the liberals jumped "all-in" on an unrealistic timeline - calling everyone who used logic out as being racist. Good grief! If liberals (small l) keep jumping all in on a politician they don't even know, its gonna be a long rough ride for them.

I fully believe that his people did set him straight. It's telling however, that when he was committed to his timeline, you guys were calling it "the right thing to do" and calling him a strong leader for it. Now that he has changed course...we live in a democracy (unlike the Harper years). Look, he was wrong before and now he came to the right decision. Why the need to defend him? Your attempt to lionize him for this is kinda desperate.

All Kimmy has done is tried to look at both sides and raise some important questions and all you people have done is shown her just how fast the left can turn on somebody - congratulations, you prove what we've always said about liberals. I disagree with Kimmy sometimes too (as I'm sure she does me), but her thoughts are always welcome.

My point is that we all knew it was an overly ambitious goal that only the strongest Trudeau supports sided with - publicly anyway. I would suggest that the change of heart was more likely CSIS, RCMP and refugee Lawyers etc talking sense into Trudeau rather than listening to us. However we came to this place doesn't much matter, the hope is that the screening process is better and more complete. As for Hillier, I don't know what he thinks. I do know that people with his influence can say different things in different settings. Maybe he believes that the process was sufficient, maybe he is responsible enough to not embarrass the Prime Minister in public - we'll never know.

How can you be taken seriously saying stuff like this?

Yeah, just go to Vancouver/Richmond and then over to Surrey. The french Canadians barely want anything to do with english Canada.
