  1. Yep. He is their bogey-man.
  2. Corruption and embezzlement among native leadership is well known. Follow the money.

  4. Sorry, I thought you had said that Sikh separatists, whom use and condone terrorism, and praise terrorists as martyrs, deserve to be recognized by Canada. Like Aristedes said. How is it not like Quebec separatism?
  5. I'll answer that one- never. Now you answer mine. When did you stop welcoming terrorists?
  6. Glad I could help you to remember. Does it make you want to reframe your position on the Sikh separatists? Or do you, and Aristides, still insist on welcoming the terrorists into our homes with open arms?
  7. "The remnants of the aircraft fell into the sea approximately 190 kilometres (120 miles) off the coast of Ireland, killing all 329 people aboard, including 268 Canadian citizens, 27 British citizens, and 24 Indian citizens.[3] The bombing of Air India Flight 182 is the worst terrorist attack in Canadian history" https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_India_Flight_182 Oh well hey. Trudeau shrugs?
  8. "Opinion". BTW just because I point out the problems with Sikh terrorism, and that Sikhs killed hundreds of Canadians on that flight, does not equate to liking Modi. Just because I don't say it, doesn't mean I approve. I simply don't feel compelled to virtue signal so as to show I'm with the group. Screw ya's all, imo.
  9. I am not on trial, and I did not ask you to apologize. However your comparison of Sikh terrorists with Alberta underscores your complete ignorance in the matter.
  10. How many terrorist acts have Albertans committed to try to force separatism? How many airplanes did they take down? It was Sikh terrorists who blew up the Air India jet over Scotland. Their mastermind is hailed as a hero by Sikhs in Canada. They even have posters of the guy on the wall in their temple. https://nationalpost.com/news/canada/why-a-journalists-question-to-jagmeet-singh-about-an-air-india-bombing-made-them-both-targets-of-criticism/wcm/7962f76d-01c7-40a4-918d-ea8f5cefb166/amp/ The article asks- "Is it appropriate for Sikh temples in Canada to display posters hailing the alleged architect of the 1985 Air India bombing as a martyr?" And Jagmeet Singh had no problem supporting this "hero". That is Canada's relationship with the Sikhs.
  11. I didn't check your link, but don't see that as in the middle. I would think the majority of parents would want to know if their child feels they are trans. But I would also think that a minority would want them to take hormone therapy at that early age. If they still feel the same way by the time they are the age of reason, they can still do that. I don't see those views as split at all.
  12. Until it completely subverts our liberal society.
  13. Maybe the bathrooms should be made with artificial intelligence. That way they can decide which one to use.
  14. Let's not forget to include pedo and animal zoo-philes. They all just want to fit in, too.
  15. Yep it's called the Nanny-state. Believing that state authority should be supreme is a hallmark of leftism. They need a big-bro. That is why communism seeks to replace god with Dear Leader, because including god imposes a set of rules that are above the rules of the state, placing the final say on liberty between god and man alone. These rules are used to put a limit on supreme executive power.
  16. Because they believe that the STATE has all-powerful authority, and is all-knowing and good. They give full authority over their lives to the STATE.
  17. No problem, MH. Happy to keep you informed.
  18. Pretty sure I read that the school board did implement some changes after he was removed. In particular professional conduct and dress-code stuff. There are also new rules being put in place that restrict the teaching of sex-ed to be done by the teacher only. Not some flashy drag queen they invited from a bar one night. I welcome these changes.
  19. I agree, this is a big part of what's going on at that age. And illustrates the potential danger of manipulating the person when they are most vulnerable. You have to look at things from the child or adolescent's point of view. Not your own as a mature educated adult. They're children.

Yes it's a lovely evening here in Eastern ON. The air is still, sky is blue with the sun going down.

Now quaffing an ale on my deck. Some kind of an amber my wife picked up.

Got no steaks on the barbie but we do have Doritos. Nacho cheese flavour.

  21. Or maybe he has, since the tax revenue the government collects with these price increases has also gone up. Food prices increase by 8%, so does the tax. Government is enjoying a tax windfall. But they need the money to do useful things, like promote wokism around the world, and for the Ukraine war.
  22. This sounds to me like... Sabatoogee! Maybe his gender-identity based speeches and chiding didn't come across that well with the locals. Not that he can help himself anymore, of course. He is what he is. Hell even his wife has given up on him. Oh well, he'll be back tomorrow...
  23. My my how the worm has turned. Meantime my view remains consistent, as it was. The government has an important role to advise the public on best practices, and to provide the resources. We pretty mich know that by doing so, will get 80-90% voluntary compliance. It should not apply enforcement, because that one-size-fits-all approach denies the rightsof individuals who have special needs. In no case should those people feel threatened by some big-mouth politician making disparaging remarks about them. Simply put there are groups of people who should not get the vaccine because it brings its own risk of harm. All these measures bring a risk of harm with them. The government and medical establishment need to be honest about the risks and harms, not upsell their snake-oil like its perfectly harmless. Even ordinary simple folk know its a lie. As we're seeing now.
