I do remember you though. You're the guy with the shovel who always gets angry. That probably didn't help you make your case in all those letters to the editor. Plus it all depends on what you're prescribing, and we all know what you prescribe. The promise of the nanny-state makes you feel safer. You probably supported Angela Merkel all the way.

We’re all going to have to supply Germany with vasoline, if you will. There’s not much choice. That’s what’s needed for their immediate future. Bigger question worth discussion is how they got themselves into that position. We should all take note what’s happening here. This is serious. Therefore, own thy shit I say. If liberalism nee progressivism cannot see they are the cause of their own failures, we will help them along. All the way to heckuba

I call it progressive stinky myself. So-called "progress" is the problem here, manifesting itself in many ways. Like, the idea of having strong trade alliances with your political and ideological enemies, because, that will bring hugs. "Free trade", already known to be the most deceptive lie told to the masses, by those who know about things. Mr. Putin is merely expressing his ideas about progress, free trade, and the post-national state.

This New Telescope in Space
OftenWrong replied to August1991's topic in Health, Science and Technology
This is already being touted as some kind of mythical all-seeing eye that will peer right into the very origin of the big bang itself. Makes me think, maybe some things shouldn't be seen... Or else maybe, our well-meaning college boys will learn a new but very old lesson It's turtles all the way down... -

I mean I can't disagree, but it is more than America, as you yourself stated. A dedicated group of people who are scientists, wanting to do research that is peaceful. You can contrast that with another group who only concern themselves with things related to war. Yet it is true, in order to develop this fantastic technology they benefited from the research done for the purpose of making war; that is the ballistic missile. Other technology like computers, sensors, various high-tech manufacturing processes all draw from the technology of war, which is actually ahead of scientific or academic reseach/ technology. -
Such photo-ops are despicable virtue signalling. Everyone wants a photo of themselves hugging Zelensky, for political ups back home. Look, we care. .... We may need a new thread- Canada’s war crimes in the Ukraine

The Ukrainian World Congress is suing Canada. Link "This exemption to the sanctions regime against Russia is totally unacceptable," the Ukrainian World Congress said in a statement. "There are real alternatives to Germany’s gas needs, including buying through Ukraine’s pipeline." Russia claims they cannot deliver gas to Germany (EU) without these parts. The part is manufactured by Siemens, a German company. Rather than repair it in Germany, the part was sent to a Siemens plant in Canada. German engineers flown to Canada to assist. The decision to send it to Canada has everything to do with optics. Germany has put itself in an impossible situation. We are suckers. Putin: Queen to King’s level three. Satan laughing spreads his wings. .

Two weeks is not enough. I may have been away. No, I do not remember there being a dislike icon. It troubles me that all we do not have one. All we can do is approve, never disapprove. Positive or nothing is like being in elementary school. Therefore yes, this forum has a strong leftist bent...

That’s the article I read about the docs. Read further- On Saturday, Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital announced a shutdown of its emergency department until Thursday, citing a COVID-19 outbreak. However, its doctors say the real reason is an ongoing staff shortage. “Yeah, COVID caused the closure of the emergency department, but the reality of it is that we had no built-in resilience of our nursing staff,” Dr. Alan Drummond told CTV National News on Saturday. Drummond said that PSFDH’s emergency room dropped from 15 nurses down to five, leaving the unit exceptionally thin. “Somebody needs to be held accountable for the fact that we lost 50 per cent of our nursing staff within several months, which set us up, basically, to fail,” he said. .... Naturally they keep the government-sanctioned parts at the top, hoping most people’s eye’s glaze over 1/3 of the way down, and move on.

Yep. A bad navigator.

Not to worry, sharkdude. There could be other factors at play. My guess, the boss won’t step in on such minor infractions unless somebody complains. My guess, if you were to data-mine the number of complaints versus political bent you would see a clear differentiation. Because the left depends on dear leader to intervene, while the right tends to address issues without the need for permission from nanny-state authority. I can’t prove it of course, only the admins could, but I will bet a doughnut. So let the left bitch, moan and whine all they want. Let ‘em have a complete meltdown hissy fit. I love it. Just don’t ever offer up any leverage. Hit ‘em where it hurts, with superior intellect. Keep up the bad work...

They treated professional medical staff like useless waste, as if anyone can just walk in and replace them. Many of them are not coming back. And now we hear the ER’s are being shut down due to staff shortages. A group of doctors has been trying to bring these real issues to the forefront, insisting it’s a self-inflicted wound that is being ignored. Mr. Trudeau would rather have us at each other’s throats over abortion.

Jews were portrayed as dirty disease-carriers in the German media already before they engaged their final solution. It was part of the justification for corralling them into camps. .... As Mr. Trudeau said- “They are extremists who don’t believe in science, they’re often misogynists, also often racists,” said Trudeau. “It’s a small group that muscles in, and we have to make a choice in terms of leaders, in terms of the country. Do we tolerate these people?” Opposition shockingly silent on PM's hatred of unvaccinated Canadians Jawohl mein herr!

Today’s article is a follow-up. Canada has agreed to send the repaired turbine to Gasprom. Ukraine 'deeply disappointed' by Canadian decision to return turbine I guess it’s easier to disappoint the Ukrainians while their being bombed to the stone ages than to anger the neo-Bolsheveiken. Poor Zelensky has learned that such open expressions of love and tenderness are completely faked. Canada and the world’s virtue is an empty shell. $$$

Yes and I am one of those. I was told I would be terminated from employment, and no other employer would hire me. Next the government quickly saw to it that I would be ineligible for EI, despite having paid into it all my life. Also that welfare would be denied. I would lose my home and have to live in a cardboard box under a bridge. As there were no suitable cardboard boxes, I relented. I had to do it entirely against my better judgement. But now after seeing what transpired I’ve decided there is no way I’m going to take a third shot, come mandate, hell or high water. If they do it, I am ready to descend into that hell, and take you people with me.

Conservative Leadership September 10th

Who have a way to excuse themselves. As long as it’s my party. People are too busy on their phones looking at instagram. He who controls the message keeps the public mesmerized. “The real problem is the liars and whores of the oil-soaked, spy-riddled monopoly press.” -Sherman Skolnik Oftenwrong -

Except for Mr. Trudeau, who actually wants Canadians to lose their minds. He loves to bring up the discussion in the HOC and use it to create division in our society. -
Canada has bern sucked into this debacle. Zelenskiy sacks Ukraine's envoy to Germany, other ambassadors Kyiv’s relations with Germany, which is heavily reliant on Russian energy supplies and also Europe’s biggest economy, has been a particular sensitive matter. The two capitals are currently at odds over a German-made turbine undergoing maintenance in Canada. Germany wants Ottawa to return the turbine to Russian natural gas giant Gazprom to pump gas to Europe. Kyiv has urged Canada to keep the turbine, saying that shipping it to Russia would be a violation of sanctions imposed on Moscow. Nice that Canada is helping Germany maintain good business with Russia. Make money, hand over fist. But maybe Zelinski wont mind, since Trudeau gives good hugs.

Another Mass Shooting

DIY gun used to kill Japan's ex-PM Abe was simple to make, analysts say Instructions here. The man suspected of killing Shinzo Abe could have made the weapon in a day or two after obtaining readily available materials such as wood and metal pipes, analysts say. The attack showed gun violence cannot be totally eliminated even in a country where tough gun laws mean it is nearly unheard of for citizens to buy or own firearms. Therefore wood and metal pipes to be banned. For your safety
