Protectionist measures by the Democrats will mean American jobs will stay in America, that will mean even greater woes for Ontario's factories. Harper knows the importance of American business for Canada. Idiots who are Bush-wackers don't have a clue of the importance of free trade to Canada. Alberta will prosper,Ontario will die. When America sneezes,Canada catches the cold. Rae days will return in wide screen,livng technicolour.

GOP losses could hurt free trade keep your chin up, unemployment under the Liberals pays well, and so does welfare.Rae days will be here again.

History has shown that this kind of thing won't affect the general public enough to turf anyone. Chretien said he was going to get rid if the GST, an item that got him into power and he reneged on that promise but still went on to win again and again. Most people in Canada have a negative savings and don't really care about corporations who make billions in profits and cry the blues over having to pay more taxes. And most I think would say the same for their fellow Canadians who have invested heavily in income trusts and have lost out. You shouldn't have all your eggs in one basket, I'm sorry you lost but it is never a sure thing.

Greg does not post(as far as I know) that's what makes this forum better than most. Since you've been here there have been posters banned(two last week) and I would guess you'll see some banned when they get Greg (and the rest of us) annoyed enough. Sometimes you hate to see them go,other times you wonder why it took so long. But the root cause is always the same,not abiding by the rules and they do it to themselves.

Greg will delete entire threads if the language is particularily bad. You cannot make any assumptions based on the threads that are still around. Considering he was Last Active 14th April 2004 - 01:30 PM and the last post available is Jan.22/04 I would say there is a bunch of posts unavailable........the mystery gets more mysterious.

Posting seven times more than RB(who by the way is female) does not make one seven times more opinionated. Black Dog is here,Craig Read is not. Check back to the day Read was banned and you will see he had 1828 posts before being banned. Black Dog had about 450 and RB had 150. Craig Read is not here because he blew the rules. Read didn't get banned because he likes to listen, and contrary to what you might think about this forum people aren't here to "compete" against one another.
