I've read tonnes of this stuff, I know what I can do,but where is the rebuttal on the government's ideas,what is a "better" program,where is a viable solution to the government's proposal? Where is your? Easy to critize,but where is your solution that takes in environment,economics,time frame,cost,regulations,employment,ect.,ect. Your thinking that by googling 458 thousand hits on google for "conserving energy"is a solution is extremely niave and simplistic, just as most environmentalist thinking is. Environmentalists are in a hurry,2050 is too long,so set up a program that you think is better,I'm listening for the better solution, the better answer. Enough googling,time for answers. With my radiio controlled clock that's within 1 billionth of a second accurate(according to the manual) the MLW clock seems to be about 13 minutes into the future. Based on the age of the earth,how does anyone know the relevance of a short period of time in which man has kept records of temperature? Even 8,000 years is a short period of time. As we get closer to the Liberal convention for picking a new leader we find a group of extreme Liberals edging on their support for their candidate Bob Rae. So devout to Bob are these Liberals they demand their supporters engage in a "babtism " ritual for Rae. SO while out in the woods baptizing a Liberal Rae supporters, a ineberated Liberal is stumbling through the woods, totally drunk, when he comes upon a group leader baptizing the Rae people in the river. He proceeds to walk into the water and subsequently bumps into the group leader. The group leader turns around and is almost overcome by the smell of alcohol, whereupon he asks the drunk, "Are you ready to find our next Liberal leader, the next Prime Minister of Canada, Bob Rae?" The drunken Liberal answers, "Yes, I am." So the group leader grabs him and dunks him in the water. He pulls him up and asks the drunk, "Fellow Liberal, have you found Bob Rae?" The drunk replies, "No, I haven't found Bob Rae." The group leader shocked at the answer, dunks him into the water again for a little longer. He again pulls him out of the water and asks again, "Have you found Bob Rae our country's new leader?" The drunk again answers, "No, I haven't found Bob." By this time the group leader is at his wits end and dunks the drunk in the water again --- but this time holds him down for about 30 seconds and when he begins kicking his arms and legs he pulls him up. Iwas watching Dragon's Den the other night and saw people presenting their innovative ideas to the Dragons for possible investments. This topic just gave me an idea that would make millions. Along with the white poppy for peace let's have a rainbow poppy(or purple, I haven't decided which would sell better)for the same sex cause,the green poppy for the environmental cause,black poppy for the civil rights /black cause. Double pink poppy for breast cancer cause,a poppy with a band aid on it for the aids cause(band-AID,get it?). A poppy with fake fur for the animal or seal cause. A poppy with a center that looks like a pill for the drug cause,poppies made of lettuce for the vegetarian folks,...I could go on and on. I'm just full of it......ideas that is. And we could sell all of these during the Vetrans red poppy season of selling just like the white poppy people are doing. This would distract people into thinking of something else other than dead soldiers. Not to mention confusing the public into thinking the red poppy,November 11th,Vetrans,dead soldiers are just another a charity cause. The money we make by diverting the red poppy money to other causes,would make us a bundle. Anybody want to invest in all these important poppycauses?
