  1. Ford is not a good public speaker. He is not an adept politician who can utter long, meaningless paragraphs of garbage buzzwords gleaned from "progressive" studies in Marxism and postmodern feminist poetry. Ford is authentic - he blurts out exactly what he thinks, says what he does and does what he says. The people have finally begun to see through the lying haze of double-speak and bafflegab practiced by politicians for decades. And Trudeau is left looking like an empty suit with nice hair.

  2. It's not about whether he's a pervert - and to compare him to Trump is humorous, but not accurate. I'd like to think that most professional/educated men have gone through life without being accused of inappropriate actions - at least to the extent that the affected party didn't scold them or raise a formal complaint. But even among that supposed "refined" class of people, there's the odd beer-fueled yahoo who carries things a bit too far. The picture of Trudeau with his frothy beer stein seems to indicate this was the case in this instance. Not the end of the world - but clearly makes this PM out to be the hypocrite that he's accused of being. His mantra has always been that he's been careful to respect women's space and "head space" all through his life. And now, he has the gall to tell us about the awakening for all men and what all men are learning - instead of taking responsibility for his own actions! Arrogance - once again. It's only a big deal because on top of the overt election lies of his government, this PM continues to be an empty-suited hypocrite.

  4. How? There is no free press and no rule of law. The media is under Putin's control, and anyone who tries to organize protests of any kind winds up getting arrested.

  8. Ah so this is the heart of your international angst against america. Fair enough, I'd feel that way too if China becomes the next hedgemon. Look, as long as we still adopt the nation state model you are going to have to use a rule based order that the us setup to avoid feeling a lack of control. Right now that order is being re written to be more fair for Americans.

  9. Your dead on with the treasonous politically correct politicians statement. Personally I would drag them out into the street hang them up and horsewhip them. From there the stockade. Politicians are destroying this country.

  11. Honestly Canada just need stronger leadership. Trudeau is definitely not it. Maybe somebody who isn't a politician and trying to get re-elected? Somebody who'd put Canada first? Who'd willing to do the right thing regardless of the immediate criticism? Wait that sounds familiar...

  13. A bit of a diversion from the thread topic, but since you're throwing that allegation out there, I'd just like to point out that taking all federal and provincial governments together, NDP governments have the best fiscal record across Canada: Of the 52 years the NDP has formed governments in Canada since 1980, they’ve run balanced budgets for exactly half of those years and deficits the other half. This is a better record than both the Conservatives (balanced budgets 37% of years in government) and the Liberals (only 27%), as well as both Social Credit and PQ governments. ... the size of deficits as a share of GDP. For this measure as well, NDP governments have the best record. The average balance (deficit) as a share of provincial GDP for the 52 years of NDP governments in Canada is -0.77%, compared to -1.82% for all Liberal governments and -0.82% for all Conservative governments over the past thirty years. http://behindthenumbers.ca/2011/04/29/fiscal-record-of-canadian-political-parties-2/ While NDP and Liberal governments may both be considered socially 'progressive', they are fiscal opposites.

  14. The liberals do not believe in fairness. But what they do enjoy doing is practicing on how to do another stupid thing today. The next time I go to buy new glasses or have dental work done I am going to send my bill to Trudeau and see what happens. I think that if all Canadians who have to pay for their glasses or pay for teeth work done they should also send their bills to our wonderful prime mistake of Canada and explain to the fool that if you are willing to pay for the legal and illegal refugee bills then why not pay for mine also. It seems only fair.

  15. As a retiree myself, who's not eligible to obtain these benefits when I turn 65 in the very near future and lose my already limited work benefits, I understand this sentiment. I believe that when he limited refugee health coverage, Harper noted that those covered by the program shouldn't have better taxpayer-funded benefits than are available to most seniors in this country. It's a matter of fairness, after all.

  16. People in the "dominant class" don't get to define that being "Black" means being one-down. That is part of the problem. Go meet some poor "White" people.

  17. But the Russians have fomented revolution and civil disruption around the world for decades. It is doing it now in western countries which everyone knows about, and in many third world countries, which is being overlooked.
