How many people willingly pay more in income taxes than they are legally obligated to pay? Would you rather pay no taxes or better yet get a tax return? All done legally within existing tax laws of course. I don't think this latest news, even if it's true will change the minds of Trump supporters or haters.

If the Democrats manage to cheat their way to victory, I'm not so sure how it will end...not well.

The majority of Canadians have never been known for their intelligence or brightness. They truly are monumentally stupid. They have always been a bunch of zombie followers who never question or challenge anything said or done to them by their leaders. This Convid 19 farce has been forced on those stupid believing sheeple and the numbers of Convid victims has been sadly fabricated in numbers way out of proportion. For the past six months their dear lying leader politicians, the lying media, the lying hospital administrators, and those so called health experts have all done a great job of keeping this scamdemic alive and running and in keeping those stupid followers constantly in a state of fear and panic and that they are all going to die if they do not listen to their lies and bull chit. As I have always said about Canadians. Canadians are truly an exercise in futility. Aw well.

All Presidents before Trump pretty much tried to keep America in constant wars. We have more peace on earth today than ever before. Hillary wanted a war with Russia. We would probably be in a war right now with Russia if she became President and of course kiss azzing communist China. Donald Trump is well deserving of a Nobel Peace Prize and there can be no doubt about that. Trump is truly a hero and the man of the hour. I can only imagine what the world would be like if Trump were not the President of America. Thank gawd that Trump is the President and I hope that Trump gets to stay President for another four more years.

They literally don't care. He doesn't pay taxes - who cares? He's a raving hypocrite who literally does everything he criticized others for - it's fine! He used his daddy's wealth and privilege to skip out of the Vietnam War - that's OK. He went bankrupt more than anyone else I know - that just makes him a smarter business man! He spent his life stiffing contractors and employees? Proves he's so smart! He's a serial liar? No, that's just the way he talks. He uses his office to enrich himself - it's Biden's fault! These people will excuse anything. They're trapped in worlds of their own making. And that's where they'll stay. Half of them are Qanon so they're probably beyond reach anyway.

Has nothing to do with deserving anything...George H.W. Bush "deserved" a second term too in 1992, but that's not how this game is played, and Trump knows how to play it better...with Willy Horton on steroids. Canada kept its own leftist version of identity politics in power when he clearly did not "deserve" to win (his party actually got fewer votes, same as Trump's). The GOP hated Trump...until he kicked their asses and Hillary Clinton's too.

Not paying taxes, legally, is fine. If a crime was committed, its a different matter. But finding legal ways to defer from paying the government their undeserved cut, thats not bad at all. Thats being smart.

Trump didn't have to sell that hard in 2016 or now...the voting audience already existed. His presidency is the result of underlying political and cultural conditions that were not of his making. The Democrats lost over 1,000 federal and state seats during the Obama presidency....lost the Senate, lost the House, and then lost the presidency. Donna Brazile, now a FOX contributor of all things. It will be interesting how Biden performs as these debates are 90 minutes. He won't have his teleprompter to rely on,and perhaps it's wishful thinking,but hopefully he won't get unfair help from any of the moderators. We already know his current campaign events are highly scripted affairs with questions and answers being hand fed to him. I would give Biden credit for showing up. Trump is a different kind of opponent, he's no "Cornpop".

While I think the academic world is learning how to conduct itself with respect to our new and more inclusive 'public', I also think it's important for us to recognize when science is being politicized and for us to tell all politicians to back off and let research continue. We saw the same thing happen with climate change, and it was detrimental to the dialogue.
