I don't believe you comprehend the difference between ordinary people and extremists. It's immature and hateful to smear all Muslims because of dangerous extremists who are not even religious.2 points

You and extremists ignore those Quranic verses forbidding murder which includes terrorism. Most Muslims - 99% - condemn terrorism and murder. But people like you refuse to acknowledge that fact, preferring instead to pretend that the less than 1% who practice terrorism are the norm. The unsubstantiated hyperbole people like you engage in makes it impossible to discuss this topic reasonably.1 point

As long as we're on the subject of knowing stuff in advance...whose bright idea was it to ignore and even maintain so much of the global environmental, economic and political injustice that's contributed to these crises? And you and your ilk are actually saying you had no idea whatsoever that any of this would happen at all? Bullshit. No more than any other right-wing Canadian political party likes to alarm Canadians...which explains why you and your ilk are just as ignorant as the Liberals and their ilk are to the global environmental, economic and political injustice contributing to these crises.1 point

If Islam were the "reason" for Islamic terrorism, we'd have a lot more Muslims blowing themselves up and running cars into crowds. Don't be fooled by an extremist element that calls itself "Muslim" into thinking that's their reason for what they do. They are fighting for territory and against the West, and any reason would do - they simply decided to claim Islam, and found a few random verses in the Quran to 'support' their agenda.1 point

Interesting. So you blame a religion for terrorism? What about Nazis? Doesn't terrorism arise without or in spite of religion? Should we not address the issue of terrorism itself, rather than being distracted into flailing wildly at an entire religion ... like the Nazis did?1 point

Interesting side effect from this natural disaster – we are seeing, slightly, a return to the old ways, in that people called “reporters” are going to the Houston area and telling us about what we can see happening. Of course, they are still devoting plenty of time in critiquing Donald Trump’s every word and perceived thought. That isn’t really reporting the news, because the news is a major city has been hit by a hurricane. Notice when we see actual reporting, we see a very different picture of what America and Americans are like. We are pretty good people. I did happen to switch over to CBS last night, and they were taking time too do a rundown of various minor local stories, carefully curated to portray America as a racist cruel uncaring country. That’s not what I see in Houston. Now why would the MSM, and their minions in the Democratic Party, want to divide the races like that?1 point

If Jesus was alive today, right wing christians would call him an unpatriotic lefty libtard who loves foreigners.1 point

Well to the author "the left" is an imaginary construct that exists only in his own mind. I mean, just the fact someone would post something with that title would suggest they are either in grade 3, or a bit deranged.1 point

Most Canadians, the majority of all three major parties, in fact, supported Leitch. It was the leftist media and political class which recoiled in horror.1 point

No. Irrational fears of 'white' people under attack merely from non-white people being present are a hallmark of this kind of thinking. Restricting freedom on the basis of race reflects an irrational fear, and isn't a concern for those of us who have faith in our pluralistic and fraternal society.1 point

2. Pfft. No. I argue your points back to you, and you now are calling me 'snowflake' all the time because you have nothing else. Who's offended ? 3. You defended the white nationalists at Charlottesville, but I want to know what you think of that ideology. You said you responded, please provide a link. 4. No, I'm not offended. But you want to impose restrictions on 'free speech' that you yourself could likely not pass. More freedom, but not for those who disagree with you. 5. Right - so how do you feel about the far-right ideology that was being protested again ?1 point

This was brought up earlier (by Michael maybe?) - giving some land to foreigners is one option. Years ago I suggested that ANYONE immigrating to Canada should be required to live for a minimum of five years north of 60. I got called a racist for the suggestion. If you want out of your shit hole of a homeland because you're scared for your life, etc - no problem. We have a pile of land just waiting for people to move into. It's called the Territories. Spend five years there and then you're free to move anywhere you want in the country. This way, we get all those "hard working immigrants and refugees that just want to work and provide for their families", they get to realize their dream of living in a "safe" country, the north gets the increased population that "some" people think we need, and the ghettos in Toronto grow...slower. Don't like snow and the cold? Tough shit. Move to Mexico then.1 point

1. It's called a legal system and I get a say as much as you do. You can express your views against multiculturalism and diversity and maybe one day more than 2% will be convinced. 'People like me' changed the system in the 1960s and 1970s and so far so good. 2. Where did you give me the answers ? I missed it. 3. Not everybody who disagrees with me cites fake news.1 point

Good to see a Jewish representative, representing all Jews. I shall take your lead and accept what you tell us Jews are like and supposed to be. Thank you for being here.1 point

My only source besides the articles has been people on twitter mentioning how they live in the same area as the church and the flood has not effected that area. Like this video: And these photos:1 point

At the end of the day it doesn't matter much if there's a benefit to child learning or not, because that's not the purpose what FDK is and whether it was beneficial or not wouldn't have much bearing if the program continued or not I'd wager...it might only factor into if FDK or full-day daycare was chosen to be subsidized. This is about votes & the (sad) reality that we want the state to raise our kids instead of parents/families. Don't know of many other animals/mammals who have strangers raising their offspring so mommy & daddy can afford those BMW payments and the bigger house with the huge master bedroom, on-suite bathroom, & walk-in closet.1 point

No, because your premise is batshit crazy. Like people who proclaim Christianity to be evil, you belong on a forum where extremist views can be shouted without the discomfort of reality bearing down on you.1 point

That was pretty good. Here is a straight forward account of the history of that land. Which is very different than what the Zionist narrative tells us what happens Here is how Palestine became colonized:1 point

No shit sherlock. You're so angry that you're not comprehending anything. This guy is showing the hypocrisy of Zionists. He is saying that he is a racist just like Zionists are. The difference is that he admits to it and is more honest about it. Zionists, on the other hand, say they are outraged at racism... even though they are some of the most racist people in the world.1 point

You are angry, incoherent and extremely paranoid. Me and my other characters must have A LOT of time to pull this off.1 point

I never 'suggested' that Israel is any way involved with these neo Nazis. When you are angry and fuming and go into Zionist Defense Force mode, you are unable to read properly to understand what people are typing. I am comparing the racism and racist gatherings. Just like Barak did. Israel is a far more racist country than the U.S. Being racist in Israel is normal.1 point

It gets better! The "White Zionist" speaks. Richard Spencer Tells Israelis They 'Should Respect' Him: 'I'm a White Zionist' Spencer responded: “... an Israeli citizen, someone who understands your identity, who has a sense of nationhood and peoplehood, and the history and experience of the Jewish people, you should respect someone like me, who has analogue feelings about whites. You could say that I am a white Zionist – in the sense that I care about my people, I want us to have a secure homeland for us and ourselves. Just like you want a secure homeland in Israel.”1 point

What's next? Saudi Arabia condemning the U.S. for the wage gap between men and women? Maybe Venezuela will condemn the U.S. for irresponsible government spending? Or Iran will condemn the U.S. for media censorship?1 point

You have a rule against thinking, do you? That is utter nonsense. CRA has an option for Canadians who want to, choose to live and work abroad. A Canadian is defined by the law and those rights cannot be taken away by some silly notions of what it means to be a Canadian.1 point

WTF? I strongly, strongly disagree. ===== To me (and I have thought about this and I may have even violated my rule), to be Canadian (in this modern world), you must pay taxes in Canada. And you must have a physical presence in Canada; I'd say, at least once every year. To clarify: To be Canadian, you must pay all taxes in Canada, and you must return to Canada at least once every year. Otherwise, you're not Canadian. Wilber, I have a different view of being Canadian than Trudeau Snr - and certainly Trudeau Jnr.1 point
