A kettle?

I can no longer stand our form of society. I think about the title of a book called “The Sociopathic Society”. We can hardly be called a society; it’s more of a big incoherent dog eat dog system we live in. Civil society in North America, people caring for one another and talking to one another, has practically broken down. A majority of people are more concerned about marijuana legalization than the troubles we all will face. I can’t stand that my world being confined to Home, Road, Work, Home, grocery store, Road, Work, Home. I can’t stand the isolation, I can’t stand that most people have nothing important to say to one another, I can’t stand ugly buildings and their fluorescent lighting, I can’t stand the pragmatic immoral indifference of the adult population to $70000 a year for college tuition, Health care extortion, corporate tyranny, abusive and comically incompetent schools (all of them), Endless wars killing millions to drive value into lockheed martin stock making the world a less safe place to live in, ect. ect. ect. (in other words: Anything that matters is off limits!) And when I try to talk to middle class adults and wealthy ones and professors about this they give me the look “Hey, don’t talk about this stuff; everything is great - be optimistic. You are a weirdo for even bringing this up. If you think the world is such a bad place then maybe you should work harder at school”. Let me tell you older folk that I’m not looking forward to joining this “system” and I’d rather have this thing destabilize/blowup than live in this for the rest of my life. For the past three generations, the compensation for living in this horror system was great material wealth, but what if that is taken away? What if you destroy culture, civil relation, security, friendships and leave nothing in its place? Get ready folk! The next economic crash is when the shit is really gonna hit the fan! Most people are hanging on by their finger tips; another crash will kick those finger tip off completely. Just hope the mostly mindless college kids don’t ruin any of the possible changes that have to take place with “social justice”, “peoples movements”, and by being “Revolutionaries” with a capitol R!

Do not look for conspiracy in policies designed through stupidity, ignorance, and short-sighted political expedience.

Well to be really fair we shouldn't have bullied the countries our corporations and money migrated too into removing as many barriers to us as we saw fit. It's pretty obvious what really invited the blowback to that into our lives. The reason why we should have been more fair, ethical and moral in our dealings with other human beings is even more obvious.

You hit it right on the nail, Betsy. Caucasians have lost all their pride and of being proud of who they are. Their Caucasian race means nothing to most of them anymore. They have allowed the leftist liberal media party, and our leftists liberal, the NDP and the conservative party's to convince them all that they are the problem to all the worlds problems and must now atone for their sins. While the fools get their panties all wet over the environment and global warming nonsense, the forces of evil that hate Canada have been working and been trying very hard to destroy this country behind our backs. Massive third world immigration and the brainwashing of multiculturalism and political correctness have pretty much already destroyed this country. It is the Caucasian people who are the oppressed ones now not only here in Canada but all over the western world, and those fools supporting it are committing racial genocide. This has nothing to do with racism but more to do with survival as a people. We are slowly being assimilated into all other cultures while we sit back and allow our culture to be eliminated. It may not be you and me, Betsy, but it will be our children and grandchildren who will be doing the suffering. Will they wake up or will it be too late? By the looks of things these days, it is starting to look like the Canada we once knew and grew up in will soon be gone. We cannot continue to absorb the rest of the third world w/o consequences.

think you are missing my point. We can base entry requirements on ANYTHING we wish, no need to be "fair" to anyone. Immigration is not some international human right, it is a very specific privilege to which we as a sovereign state can specify EXACTLY what we will and will not accept as it suits us...just as every other nation does.

Many true words spoken by you sir and I agree wholeheartedly. It just beats the hell out of me why are people in the western countries sleepwalking into their doom and pretend that everything is just fine? Actually, these recent years and the events have made me wonder whether it is me and the people who are with me who are living in a bubble thinking we somehow represent some "silent majority" waiting to speak out. Perhaps people in the western countries these days are multiculturalists who don't care that their countries will eventually collapse but the heck with the future as we are having fun now. The prevalent ethno-masochism which is promoted in all our countries makes you really ask if some collective mass-psychosis has overtaken our countries. Perhaps they are the sane ones and us who question this we are the "hate-speechers" etc name-tags they have invented. As I have said earlier, the popularity of the Green-party here in Finland is according to the latest polls at 18% and given our fragmented party-field they are well able to become the largest party in Finland by the next election in 2019. That party is all in favour of removing all border-controls and in their energy-policies they support policies which especially hurt the Finns. And this party is going to be the biggest party! I'm convinced that in the western world there is some virus running rampant eating people's brains making them love destroying themselves.

I've never labelled anyone a nazi who didn't call themselves a nazi. Do you think today's professed nazis approve of murdering millions in death camps or do you think they are just ignoring that little bit of history?

Seem to recall very similar things being said about kids of my generation by their elders.

Part of the problem is also the fear that permeates our culture. Men attacking/raping women, children being abducted, men being conned by women, each a tragedy, but at the same time not the norm. However dramatic media reports make us think they are because we aren't made aware of the millions of people who go about their daily life without anything bad happening.

I always thought being principled meant doing the right thing, even if the other person didn't. If "they" ignore human rights and we think that gives us the right to ignore human rights too, then we are no different than "them".

As long as the clueless maintain power the rest of us can get as smart as we want and it simply won’t matter. The clueless own the media and their fake truths are repeated to believability and your real truths are not. Hating on the over 68 all white crowd is pointless. Their place will be taken by another group with no more enlightenment than they. I see plenty of young people smoking cigarettes and they all started after the negative health effects about cigarettes became known. That should tell you that generations do not improve in time. As civilization travels down the arc of collapse generations become more decadent and unfocused until like ’roundup’ sprayed on a field of weeds reality kills everything.
