Well I guess the Americans think they can run world, so I guess the World has an opinion. And it's not looking very good for ole Bones Spurs these days. Little Iran is kicking your Can while Israel is leading America around like a dog on a leash. Lol. I could on all day, but, it;s Brunch time for Steak and Eggs. Peace. ✌️

The problem is trying to give power to the provinces while also trying to take power from the provinces You have this weird crossover where they try and give the provincial governments local power while at the same time giving federal governments power over areas that affect each other and it comes into conflict. For example, guns. The constitutional powers clearly indicate that the provinces are responsible for the sale of goods and what goods can be sold. So a province like Alberta should absolutely be able to say what kind of guns are soldwhat regulations involve their use. However the constitution grants the federal government certain powers under safety. So you get the federal government stepping on the provincial rights under the name of safety and there isn't a lot of balance there Things work best when there are clear divided authorities. What you get now is frequent and constant government overreach on the federal level into the provinces and the provinces get angry and fight back. You also see tax dollars collected from all provinces benefiting a disproportionately small number of provinces often at the expense of other provinces. When it's clear and there's no cross over and no opportunity for overreach and everyone agrees who's job is what then you tend to eliminate much of the problem.

Great. Sounds like he has a fighting chance to defend himself if an armed vigilante hunt him through the night for no reason. This has nothing whatsoever to do with Obama. You simply don't seem to know the facts of that case either. The people who sent him hundreds of thousands of dollars. The organizations and events who invite him to be a celebrity guest (though that seem to have dried up since he has continued to be a dirtbag and get in trouble). The creeps who bid on the murder weapon when he auctioned it off--sold for $250K. And frankly, the outpouring 👍 I definitely buy that Zimmerman was afraid for his life after Martin turned on him. That's reasonable. But Martin also should have been afraid for his life. He was being hunted through the dark. That too is reasonable. And in this case, Zimmerman absolutely engineered the conflict. He was not behaving reasonably. Martin was just "walking while Black." Zimmerman turned around to follow him by truck. He called the police. He chased him on foot. The dispatchers told him not to chase the kid. He did anyway. He kept chasing him and chasing him. Martin retreated and retreated and retreated -- for over 7 minutes. And when Martin finally stood his ground and fought his pursuer, Zimmerman shot the kid. Despite doing everything wrong, initiating the confrontation, pursuing for 7+ minutes, Zimmerman was able to claim self defense. He was the aggressor for 7+ minutes, and when the tables turned, he escalated to lethal force. And was acquitted. Imagine that. Compared to the Anthony case, the contrast is dramatic. Different jurisdictions. Different juries. But the same old story that the data tells us again and again: laws like this are not applied equally for Black defendants.

It passed. With minimal controversy. A senate committee passed this. with minimal controversy. That is what was reported, that is the truth. A group of Canadian political officials voted unanimously to put Canadians in jail for having an opinion they didn't like. That's a thing that happened. The fact that others defeated it later does not change that simple fact. This is the left today. This is what you and your kind want for Canadians. And your'e here trying to excuse it and defend it instead of condemning it.

US inflation surges to three-year high of 4.2% US prices in May rose at their fastest rate in three years, with inflation surging to 4.2%. The rise, from 3.8% a month earlier, was largely driven by rising energy costs, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) said. It marked the third month in a row the Consumer Price Index (CPI) has risen, with households increasingly feeling the strain of the US and Israel's war in Iran. Higher inflation raises the likelihood of the US Federal Reserve raising interest rates in a bid to curtail spending. The last time inflation was higher was in April 2023, when the US was still grappling with the fallout from the energy shock sparked by Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Overall energy bills including gas and electricity were almost a quarter higher in May than a year earlier, with petrol responsible for much of the increase. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c0myzxjkw99o So let’s recap: Inflation under Biden was caused by global events beyond his control: COVID, global supply chains and Russia’s invasion. But Republicans freaked out because as the President SOMEHOW he was supposed to magically stop those things. And some of his policies that brought relief to US businesses MAY HAVE contributed to inflation. Inflation came down dramatically before his term ended. Meanwhile Trumpflation is caused solely by Trump’s unnecessary and absurd trade war against the world and his unnecessary war in Iran as the Russian war continues with Trump barely paying any attention to it now Trump was largely elected on a false promise to end inflation “on day one” and he promised to not start any more foreign wars and to end the Russian war. His presidency is an economic disaster and he’s done the exact opposite of what he promised but the Trump cult doesn’t care because exalting the Dear Leader is all that matters.
