Danielle Smith Address to Albertans

Yes, but nobody was stupid enough to suggest most canadians were happy with voting conservative because people with an IQ of more than 12 can figure out that 41 percent is less than 50 Apparently that group did NOT include you I suppose in fairness that WOULD have involved taking your mittens off to count and that's always such a bother. Fun fact, PP is still gaining against Carney as best prime minister in the polls. Go look it uo. Carney is falling and he's still gaining. So we'll see where things land We might be back to the polls sooner than we thought! -
Anything is possible but usually they announce that kind of thing because it stabilizes the market. For example the deal with Britain isn't actually done they just agreed to some basic terms and now they're going to hash out a lot of the details and there will be adjustments but they rushed to announce this deal as if it was a completed thing because it brings a little bit of stability to the market which has been extremely volatile. I'm sure there are all kinds of discussions going on in the background in a sort of general sense and given the volatility of the market and how the American economy is doing it may very well turn out that shortly they feel a strong need to put the uncertainty behind them so that the economy can begin to recover. They're already talking about creating "Template" agreements that they can use as rubber stamps for dozens of countries that are similar in economic nature and trade, so with a little fine-tuning they can speed things up. I mean they're not stupid. The economic impact of this hasn't even really begun to be felt yet, we're at the tip of the iceberg. The economy is starting to slow, it's not horrible yet but by the time it is horrible it'll be too late to course correct so they'll be under pressure to get things going the other way sooner rather than later.

Or rather is this the revisionist history that the Conservatives are trying to peddle, and that Canadians unsurprisingly didn't buy in the last election?

I don't know that and neither do you. The optics would be really bad for someone who still has aspirations for the big job. I'm not judging his integrity, just saying it is also an astute political move. If Carney is as good as his word about expediting a bye election, it won't be long before he is back in the house. We have seen a side of PP since the election was lost that we hadn't seen before. If he had shown it before, perhaps the conservatives wouldn't have lost. If he keeps it up, I wouldn't be surprised if he eventually does become PM.

Sorry, but I cannot feel sorry for him not cheer his stance. He has made $299,900 per year as leader of opposition and. Lived in government housing (19-room mansion with eight bedrooms, five bathrooms, living room, sitting room (2nd floor), and dining room, and sits on extensive grounds. Besides the residents in the home, Stornoway is served by a staff of three: a chef, chauffeur, and household administrator. and is maintained with $70,000 a year in government funds"

The unnecessary and bogus election will cost us, Canadian taxpayers over $1 million "Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre’s bid to regain a seat in Parliament through a byelection could cost taxpayers more than $1 million, according to data from recent races." Put it into perspective, preferably with own brain. So much for "honorable" but it's only a word who cared, right? In fact, we are talking here about a gross disrespect to Canadian taxpayers and democracy itself. Party over the country, but we knew that already small surprise.
-
You mean to those that lost the election as a leader of his party and then even lost his own seat? So, democracy is to kick out a loyal member so the loser can take his spot ? I would think in doing so serves his personal immediate purpose?? Hopefully the residents of the riding he is stealing see what he is, a loser, and will not let him get away with it.

Our elections are broken...... or is it our conservative party that is broken? 4 election loses 3 leaders tossed and the one leader that lost and is punting out a loyal conservative to take his seat? And you are blaming the MSM and CBC??? Maybe look at the $hit going on in your own house??? LOL -
So, your allegiance was not to Canada??? Even though you swore it? I sympathize with the men and women that were beside you in times of peril.

And the conservatives got even less LOL So...the Liberals won and you lost LOL Carney was ahead in the polls over PP for those that thought who would be a better PM form the very beginning...that should tell you something. LOL LOSER -
The wait, is deadly. I feel for businesses that are going under............for people losing jobs...... It is possible there are negotiations happening underway behind the scenes. We might be surprised by an announcement..........who knows? Keep tab of Trump whenever he speaks. He could mention something about it.

Read the instructions on your pills again. I don't think you're taking enough It's not unnecessary and it's not uncalled for I know you absolutely hate democracy if it doesn't serve your immediate purpose. You would rather silence anybody rather than give them a chance to vote for somebody you don't like. In your heart you're a tyrant, you're just another Putin want to be who believes that nobody should have their voice if it disagrees with you. The party has decided to keep him on as leader. Cope with it

I don't live in Alberta. But if it's any consolation if albertans Saskatchewan go I'm pretty sure BC will as well. It would be hard to put that Genie back in the bottle We should probably start thinking ahead. What do you think about "we're not going to take it" for the national anthem?

Meaning growing the manufacturing sector at the expense of the resource industries, so overall achieve NET ZERO growth. I believe in population decrease as well as reducing our footprint on the Earth. Now don't blame me for trying to kill someone. I have not said that. -

Met people like him when I lived in Langley. Grandparents left Russia fleeing the Reds. Parents left China fleeing the Reds. They fled Australia because the commie Labour party got elected. They'd never vote NDP as they'd spent generations fleeing communists. Lucky they moved to Canada as when they both died lingering drawn out deaths the Marxists Liberals and their socialized medicine left their house and savings intact for the kids to inherit.
