What Is Climate Change?
WestCanMan replied to Deluge's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Agreed, but I would say that "the illusion of consensus is manufactured by the IPCC", and those of us who aren't cultists are fully aware of that.... -
And that the world is now saddled with irreversible global cooling devastation.
-
The left doesn't have a conscience which explains their affinity for consensus. "How can they refute it when we already have consensus?".

What Is Climate Change?
WestCanMan replied to Deluge's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Manmade climate change is what caused 60% of Florida's population relocate due to flooding, in case you missed it. Oh, wait, that was just another one of the endless doom-and-gloom scenarios that never played out. Let me try again... Anthropogenic climate change is the sudden warming of planet earth due to greenhouse gas emissions arising from man's burning of fossil fuels, which trap warm air by the earth's surface. Concerned citizens like Leo DiCaprio, Bill Gates, John Kerry, Mark Zuckerberg frequently pontificate about our need to reduce our carbon footprint from their yachts, private jets, and multiple mansions, while they're burning more carbon in 1 hour than the average person burns in a year. (right now Mark Zuckerberg is up in the Powell River area, with TWO mega-yachts: one that he is staying on and an even larger one that carries his supplies and toys. But he still wants you to remember that you're a piece of crap if you are driving a car) Hold on, one last try... Manmade climate change is that thing that the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change admitted to lying about. And they also got caught trying to suppress dissenting viewpoints in order to create the illusion of total consensus, which left4rds on this forum still cite to this day. But just because the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change is lying and suppressing the truth, doesn't mean that they're not telling the uhhhhhh, truth. Ahem. Well, they're really honest compared to the Dems and Liberals. So there's that. -
Left-wing hysteria is what's heating up the fastest.

Canada is warming faster than the rest of the world. Australia is warming faster than the rest of the world. Finland is warming faster than the rest of the world. Africa is warming faster than the rest of the world. New England is warming faster than the rest of the world. Israel is warming faster than the world. China is warming faster than the rest of the world. The South Pole is warming faster than the rest of the world. At some point, ordinary people ask a simple question: How can every region be warming faster than every other region? Yes, regions can warm at different rates. Yes, local climate dynamics matter. But when the media turns every regional study into the same fear headline, it stops looking like careful science communication and starts looking like narrative management. Trust is not destroyed by skepticism.

Yes, facing an ethics probe. Congratulations, you've worked yourself all the way up to the intelligence level of a parrot No because the ethics committee has determined that there is enough evidence to pursue the matter further. The committee does not begin investigations just because they were asked to, they receive a complaint and they determine whether or not there's enough viability to consider proceedin Yes you were, but we're pretty used to you being wrong

That's just a small part of the equation, eyeball. Even more important than that is figuring out who's worth listening to, and as a CBC cultist you're truly no better than a Nazi supporter at determining what you should and shouldn't "learn". Honestly. BS. You vote like a brainwashed tw4t. Willful ignorance is your middle name, dumbass. Iran and Hamas openly declare their intent to commit genocide against Israel, and you support them to that end, and what's your best reason why they should even do that, aside from willful ignorance? What did the Israelis do differently from the Pakistanis when they got their country partitioned for them? The Israelis killed 1/2,000th the number of people the Pakistanis killed. The Israelis displaced 1/10th the number of people the Pakistanis did. Who in the muslim world is saying that Pakistan has no right to exist, or that Sikhs and Hindus should have a right to return? Is Iran trying to commit genocide against Pakistan because of "1947 π©"? FYI the "nabka" was a drop in the bucket compared to what Pakistan did. It's like a mini-mini-mini-mini-mini nabka. Pakistan committed a second genocide in 1971. Estimates are from 1M to 3M people. Where's the outrage from the islamic community on Pakistan's second massive genocide? Again, there is none. Just like there would have been if all the Jews were killed in 1948. Just like there would have been if all the Jews were killed in 1967. Just like there would have been if all the Jews were killed in 2023. Why did Iran try to build nukes, and give the Houthis ballistic missiles, and give Hamas 100,000 rockets, and give Hezbollah 200,000 rockets, if not genocide against Israel? What was their goal, eyeball, and why do you support it, you filthy piece of crap? You're a massively opinionated, stupid piece of shit, with a penchant for genocide, eyeball. I know that you consider yorself a really strong proponent of good-vs-evil, but you're too easily manipulated by anyone with ulterior motives.

Will Poillievre Try To Sabotage 24 Sussex Restoration ?
CdnFox replied to BeaverFever's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
There are documents that you can go through to show some of the problems but you have to remember it's not just a residence. Foreign dignitaries will be entertained there, events will be held there. The security considerations and communications technology that must be built into it as well as the surrounding grounds and the lavishness of the rooms to create a proper image of the wealth and power of our country are substantial, All of that drives the price up radically. The thing is part show piece, heart museum, part entertainment facility, it has to be able to cook food for large amounts of people, it has to be a communication hub And it has to be a secure facility protected against attack of any type not just for the residents but for those visiting. Complicating this will be if they want to try and keep the look or exterior or facade for historic purposes. He has been noted that it would be cheaper to just rip it down and rebuild from scratch without trying to salvage any of the existing look but some people are against that for historical reasons I'm usually the first to complain about excessive government spending but honestly when you look at what they'd have to do and what it has to be when it's finished 50 million bucks seems like a reasonable price to me. As much as I hate to admit it it is important our country to have an official residence that is suitably impressive. The white house in the states is a symbol of American power, 10 downing street and Buckingham Palacels of the power and authority of the British empire and united kingdom. Etc etc And what do we currently have? A decrepid old building in mind the rats. I don't quite like how he's going about it and I don't like that the liberals are getting a free ride for the fact that Trudeau ignored this for 11 years but I do see the need -
Consensus is no part of the scientific process. At all. In fact it's the antithesis of science Science only moves forward because somebody comes along and says that the previously accepted science is wrong. If that wasn't true we would still be using Newtonian models for the movement of objects. And if there is such a huge body of science to suggest that climate change is a crisis then why have you never been able to produce any?
