gatomontes99 Posted May 6 Report Posted May 6 The drugged out nut job did not have a weapon. He just tried to force his way in to kidnapping people in a car. Now he is dead thanks to a good guy, father...with a gun. 2 Quote Don't you think that if I were wrong that I would know it?

The point is that allowing folks to be armed who want to, makes it better for them to defend themselves and their loved ones. You clowns support the lawlessness that continues to put these evil and crazy people on the streets. Don’t worry though little sheep. Us sheepdogs will still protect you. Just keep practicing saying: Baaaaaaa 1 Quote
Fluffypants Posted May 6 Report Posted May 6 3 hours ago, robosmith said: Fact: Arming More People Doesn’t Make Us Safer It does make it easier for thieves to steal guns That report was made by anti gun Democrats, its not even scientific its Diane Feinstein talking out her ass. 1 Quote

Why? No one wants to try to rape a woman with a gun. 1 Quote Don't you think that if I were wrong that I would know it?
John Stone Posted May 7 Report Posted May 7 The advantage of firearms is that it enables a person to deliver trauma from a distance Firearm related crime is a significant problem. Tens of thousands of firearm related deaths are reported annually. Gun violence accounts for over 10 percent of deaths amongst young adults. So, the question is, 'do you want to become a statistic' ............ or buy a firearm, learn how to use it, maintain it .................. and definitely know the ROE. Quote

John Stone Posted May 7 Report Posted May 7 4 minutes ago, Deluge said: The real question is, do you want the right to bear arms, or do you want to be a f*cking communist and erase the 2nd Amendment? The overwhelming majority support the 2nd and the right to bear arms. However, the majority also want stricter, sensible, gun control legislation. A recent lawsuit brought by DOJ against Colorado challenges the state's law that restricts the sale and possession of large-capacity mags. A similar challenge was raised against Colorado's assault weapon ban. Arguably these legal challenges have zero to do with defending the 2nd and more to do with gaining political leverage and a SOP for the all-powerful gun lobby and industry. Quote
Deluge Posted May 7 Report Posted May 7 Just now, John Stone said: However, the majority also want stricter, sensible, gun control legislation. No, that's bullshit. The majority of 2nd Amendment supporters want lethal responses to violent criminals. When you start trying to legislate gun ownership, stupid assed language like "Hey, you can have a hunting rifle, but that's it" comes out. Quote

Arguably these legal challenges have zero to do with defending the 2nd and more to do with gaining political leverage and a SOP for the all-powerful gun lobby and industry. Those laws restricting magazine capacity and assault weapons has little to do with stopping any gun violence and far more to do with ignorance and hating guns and gun ownership. You sit here saying you support the 2nd Amendment, then say you support restricting some of the most commonly held firearms and imposing arbitrary restrictions on magazine capacity. Quote
