robosmith Posted April 15 Report Posted April 15 DOJ paid more than $1 million in settlement to anti-abortion protester — after a federal judge tossed his suit Abortion opponents celebrated news of the settlement, while career prosecutors said it’s another example of Donald Trump’s DOJ kowtowing to once-prosecuted abortion opponents. Meanwhile Trump is trying to collect $10.23B from the US taxpayers for alleged IRS malfeasance and compensation the search warrant on Mar-a-Lago. Quote Since returning to office, President Trump has pursued massive financial compensation from the federal government through legal action and claims. These include a $230 million administrative claim against the Justice Department regarding past investigations (including the Mar-a-Lago probe) and a $10 billion lawsuit against the IRS and Treasury over the unauthorized leak of his tax records. [1, 2, 3, 4] Key Details on the Lawsuits $230 Million Claim (DOJ): Filed in late 2023 and 2024, these claims allege that investigations into his 2016 campaign and his handling of classified documents violated his rights, as detailed in reports from The New York Times. $10 Billion Lawsuit (IRS/Treasury): Filed in early 2026, this suit seeks damages for the release of tax data during his first term, notes Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington. Purpose: Trump has suggested he would donate the funds to charity or to the White House for renovations, according to NBC News. Ethical Concerns: Critics argue these suits represent an abuse of power, allowing the president to "pocket tax dollars" by acting as both plaintiff and potential approver of the settlement, as outlined in Democracy Docket. Context: These actions are part of a broader,, and historically unparalleled, effort to extract billions in damages from federal agencies, according to analysis from Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington and Democracy Docket. WestCanMan Posted April 15 Report Posted April 15 Imagine if a SWAT team showed up at the homes of the VIOLENT criminals that knocked that TPUSA reporter down the other day, and pointed 17 AR's in their faces... "OMG TRUMP IS NAZI!!!!" But it was the Biden DoJ so 👍😎🥰 1 Quote If the Cultist Narrative Network/Cultist Broadcasting Corporation gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed. It's open to interpretation." - robobigot

Hodad Posted April 16 Report Posted April 16 Trump doesn't just pardon criminally, he also pays them. Those are his people. This is, by miles, the most corrupt and perverse administration in history. Quote

The local authorities found nothing to charge him on and so Biden administration abused the DOJ to go after Pro-Life activists like him to try to twist the law to get him. They failed because he wasn’t a criminal. They abused the FBI to go to his home and arrest him in force in front of his family when they knew his lawyer told them he would surrender peacefully if they put out an arrest warrant. Of course you still defend this abuse and that is why you are full of shit. Quote
