No, but I see ~50,000 manufacturing jobs lost and a great deal of uncertainty within the economy that affects investment and growth.

Don't confuse American's with Trump.  Canadian's have nothing against American's....they have a hard on for Trump and rightfully so.

Mom....look at what the liberals did!  😂

To each his own.

I'll leave you to your pants sh!tting.

Moral victories are for losers....  Poilievre's approval was historic drop in losing a ~27% poll lead 😂

You cheer because Poilievre lost.

I mourn because Canada is in the toilet while people like you..continue to cheer.

LOOK OVER THERE!

IT'S TRUMP!

Not done sh!tting your pants yet?

Let us know when you guys are done so we can start working on our economy.

No reason for me to shit my pants.  Doesn't matter whether it's Trump, Biden or Joe Blow it's not going to have much of an impact on my life (other than my portfolio which evolves anyway).

Carney is working on our economy....pay attention.  Check in with your Premier to see how she and her next door neighbor Moe are thinking about the federal government these days.

You're damn right I cheered when Poilievre lost!  The last thing this country needed coming off Trudeau was an inexperienced career politician who had/has nothing for policy other than "look at what the liberals did'.

Carney is more interested in pursuing the Brookfield agenda. Canada's economy is secondary.

If things do turn around, then I'll be one of the first to admit Carney did well.

Although pundits say the Terrebonne riding with likely go Bloc, now there's a good chance it could go Liberal.

Carney announced he's giving $1 billion to Bombardier to make drones.

They've never made a drone before.

Why can we not have any industry in Canada that isn't fully funded by taxpayers?

You're proving my point in that you vote based on hate for certain individuals instead of the actual poor record of this government which has been around since 2015.

Although I don't like either Trudeau or Carney, it gets nowhere near the threshold of hate. I dislike them based on what they did/are doing as PM.

The Carney and Brookfield act is pretty weak, don't you think....  I get you're looking for moral victories where there are few to be had but the typical conspiracy acts get old...

I guess you're that guy that goes to an investment company and doesn't ask about their track record and then invests not only your own money, but your children's future incomes and your grandchildren's future incomes.

Not too smart.

Investment company:  "We've lost on every investment we've made!  For a whole decade!"

You:  "Sounds great!  Here's all my money!"

Hate...  where was that mentioned?  I didn't say I hate Poilievre, that's not the right word at all.  I'm glad he lost because I don't think he's even remotely qualified to be the leader of the Conservative Party, let alone the country.

I don't.

But I watch the committee meetings on Carney's ethics violations so I'm better informed.

guess the English "Keep calm and carry on" didn't stick with him during his years there. 😬

I mean seriously, that was the English philosophy over getting bombed, and here we were pooping our pants over some tariffs, while ignoring the real issues at home.

The only ones pooping their pants in Canada are people who are pizzed off we aren't putting as many tariffs on the US.

Keeping calm and carrying on is saving us a bundle. Yes, I understand there are lots of other reasons everything is more expensive and seemingly broken but paying 10-25% more on top of that seems really stupid to me.

I said now watch what you say they'll be calling you a radical,
a liberal, oh fanatical criminal

lol...  No, we vetted and did our due diligence with our financial advisor years ago and my children manage their own investments for their families.  The funny thing is they're in their young 30's with good careers, work hard and see the cost of living like everyone else.  To their credit they don't bÍtch nowhere near as much as you and the other right wing minions do.

Not too smart.... yes, I can see that.

what does this foolish comment above have to do with the NDP???

Can't wait to get rid of the NDP here in BC too.  Then all they'll have left is that guy in Manitoba before the NDP disappears into the political dustbin of history.  Right beside the Social Credit party.

As Democrat and Liberal governments fall, Republicans and Conservatives come to the rescue.

So you just don't believe in looking at political track records?

Or you just want to avoid the Liberal track record?

Very bias.  Much partisanship.

Your investments won't mean much when the Libs bankrupt us and discover you have something they can tax explosively.

Not really an act though when he has more conflicts of interest than any other PM according the the governments own list which is a pdf file open to the public.

Carney's skin in the game is overwhelmingly in the US.

Lori Idlout's son, Robin Idlout, was arrested in Dec. 2024 on charges of possession of child pornography and accessing child pornography.

I wonder if this is the leverage they have over her.

There are no public updates on the case.

It has nothing to do with the NDP.... I was asked about Poilievre so replied.  He is a hindrance though that drags the conservative party down, don't you think?

Wouldn't expect you to pay attention but if you did you would have learned that until the last federal election there was 10 years between voting liberal for me.

Don't embarrass yourself further by calling out a 'bias'. I don't think many can compete with you in that category.

Appreciate the concern, but my investments and most others will do just fine regardless of which party governs.

I've seen his investments, which is in a blind trust.  Are you thinking that's false and he spends his days buying and selling equities depending on who he talks with?

Carney, and most Canadian's who are invested have more exposure in the US than Canada because of the wider selection of equities within a sector in the US versus our financial and resource sector heavy TSX.  Your point here is....?
