Indeed - however in politics perception is reality - the public perception, overwhelmingly, is that Trump was complicit in knowledge or act. 

You  seem to consider that  the heavily redacted files that were released exonerates Trump - hardly!

There is really only one person alive today who could not exonerate, but indict Trump and a multitude of others, of being complicit in knowledge or act and that is Ghislaine Maxwell. The refrain  to this is, 'who would believe her'. 

Give Ghislaine credit, she is a smart operator - I'm sure any accusation she made, she could support with facts in some fashion......... Epstein stock in trade was extortion........ to extort the guy needed evidence - likely a large part was gathered by Maxwell. Jeremy dealt in espionage, sex ............. the sex was a means to an end - information. 

Yeah, Biden / Harris - the why didn't they release the so-called files.

One theory is that after perusing said, 'files' the Administration  realized that they were just too 'hot' - exposing them to the public would indeed do extreme damage domestically / internationally and could compromise national security. The administration hoped the public interest would dissipate - and then along came Trump - tearing off the bandage and loudly proclaiming that if elected he would release all -  he was re-elected and  he was caught in a trap of his own making.  The DOJ knows what is in the files - and Bondi made the same mistake - proclaiming to release all, until  she perused the files and the realization struck her that releasing them unredacted would be an indictment of her boss. That is when the deceit began. 

Ghislaine needs to commit suicide ......... she wields tremendous power - the deal is pardon at the end of Trump's 2nd term - then she could expire in  a traffic accident or some such.

Why the Biden/Harris administration didn't release the files? I don't buy the notion that they would do too much damage domestically/internationally or compromise national security. Any administration that leaves the southern border open and plays nice with countries like terrorist-supporting Iran, isn't really taking national security too seriously. They knew full well what was in the files and perhaps the biggest reason they chose not to release them was to protect the Clintons and other prominent names on the left.

That administration, and the left in general, literally threw everything they could at Trump. Years of lawfare, personal attacks, vile rhetoric which helped to amp up the derangement which led to assassination attempts.

If the Biden/Harris administration thought there was anything in the files that would harm Trump, they would have released them in a heartbeat, and they would have also been released with redactions.
