You poor sad little man.

It's hilarious that you criticize people for making insults and then immediately switch to just making insults :)  And now who's acting like a 'tough guy' on the internet :)

Kid, nobody here respects you or considers your opinion to be worth crap, except perhaps other losers who are equally as poorly regarded. You're the kind of thing I wipe off my shoe

How is Canada's economy doing compared to the US?

The U.S. economy recorded a strong third-quarter 2025 GDP growth of ~4.3 % annualized—its fastest pace in two years and much stronger than consensus forecasts.

Canada’s economy saw a contraction in October 2025 (about −0.3 %), the largest monthly drop in almost three years, although preliminary data hinted at slight growth in November.

United States leads: Recent GDP data shows strong growth and outperforming expectations.
📉 Canada lags: Latest figures point to soft or contracting quarterly growth and forecasts of below-trend expansion.
Reuters

Broader reports have forecast below-trend GDP growth around ~1.2 % for 2025 overall.

Yeap.   The us still has a few soft spots in it's economy it needs to shore up, but canada's is just a dumpster fire.

And the biggest problem is that while there are serious issues still in the American economy, it is easy to Envision ways that they might correct those. But in Canada, we are now in a structural spiral dive that is almost impossible to see easy recovery from.

And this isn't really just about trump. These problems existed before trump and we're becoming unavoidable. This is why Canadians hated Trudeau so badly.

But at this point, we're about to put the plane into the ground. Our debt is crippling and we're just about out of road there, but we can't stop borrowing or we'll collapse.  we can't attract business to invest with our high taxes and instability, and our extreme regulations.  We can't retain talented people, they go to other countries.  If we don't stop immigration our economy will collapse due to inflation and lowered earnings per capita.  If we DO stop immigraiton our economy will collapse because we've built our structures and institutions around it and businesses and universities etc won't be able to adapt.

We have a problem, and carney is making it worse not better. So it's not like we're even in the process of fixing it yet

About the same as always isn't it? If debt to GDP is any indicator it's like comparing a roaring drunken swabbie to a subdued tipsy landlubber.

6.4% vs 1.6%

Now that said in the real world swabbies are usually at sea for a month making nothing but money but then blow it all over a few harbour days pub crawling before heading back out to sea again.

Landlubbers have a beer or two at the end of the day.

I said now watch what you say they'll be calling you a radical,
a liberal, oh fanatical criminal

Saw another FB post blaming Carney for grocery prices that showed a picture of a turkey for over $100.00 this morning.
Either took the pic in Inuvik or picked the biggest turkey in the store, cuz it's selling for $2.99/lb here in Northern BC. Cheaper than f*cking hot dogs.
Keep it up righties, Jim Pattison and the billionaires love it when you blame the PM for grocery prices and worship them as heroes.

Look there's a squirrel!

Nope. For decades we were at about parody with their growth overall. We are now slipping a nose diving severely compared to them

Say what you like about trump but he is driving their economy up and say what you like about carney but he's crashing ours
