Toronto Palestinian Families doesn't support Canada's official definition of antisemitism, likely because its own policies violate it

This year, Toronto Palestinian Families (TPF), which describes itself as “a grassroots group led by Palestinian families advocating for safe and inclusive spaces free from anti-Palestinian racism and other forms of inequity,” was given $99,500 by the Canadian Heritage department for a proposal titled, “Combating Anti-Semitism and Anti-Palestinian Racism for All.”

Shockingly, the government approved the grant, even though some of the group’s policies would be considered antisemitic based on the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) Working Definition of Antisemitism, which was officially adopted by the Government of Canada in 2019.

 

And thus the liberals continue the long standing trudeau tradition of giving those who hate jews money to fight hatred of jews.

The Canadian federal government must get out of the business of funding all such organizations.  Taxpayers didn’t ask for this.  So much government waste is connected to government going outside its purview.

Yes, the Canadian government has some history of anti-Semitism.  From the refusal to accept a ship load of Jewish refugees trying to escape the Holocaust around WW2, to the recognition of a former Nazi in the Canadian Parliament, and recently to be one of the first countries in the world to officially recognize a so-called Palestinian state (which would carve up Israel and basically destroy it, if Israel accepted it, which they will never do).

Shockingly, the government didn't multiply the amount of the grant by 100 and then put Omar Khadr and Elizabeth May in charge of managing the fund before approving it, because some of the group’s policies weren't considered antisemitic enough

If Israel never existed would Islamic States still be at war (covertly or otherwise) with the West.

One thing for sure .............. Islamic hatred for the Jews is groomed, it's generational ....... it's baked in .... there can be no peace, cataclysmic World event notwithstanding.

A better question would be, why would it NOT be at war with the West? It's been at war with EVERYONE for 1400 years.

Which is hardly surprising given their doctrine tells them Islam must rule the world, and that anyone who disbelieves must be forced to convert or killed.

We teach so little history these days. I'm constantly running into people online who had no idea that most of the Middle East, along with Turkey and Azerbaijan, was Christian for a thousand years before being conquered by Muslim warlords.
