And what Don Lemon is really missing here is this point:

• leftists have the opportunity to make ICE's job easier, and make "brown people" safer every day, just by notifying ICE agents when they are about to release illegals from jail cells, as is their legal obligation. 
• But they don't, so instead of ICE picking up illegal alien criminals from the jail while they are unarmed, they have to go out into the city and find them, and arrest them, while they are armed, and surrounded by innocent civilians.

Lets go back even more than that. 

The dems had the ability to avoid ALL of this just by keeping the border closed and coming up with reasonable policies for dealing with the illegal immigrants while they were in office, either under biden OR obama.  They could have created a path to citizenship or at least landed immigrant status that didn't honk off the whole country, they could have found a way to start removing illegals in a more gentle fashion over time,  they could have actually dealt with it. 

Instead they made it worse, and then attacked trump for DAAAARING to care about the issue. 

Well.... now nobody feels like being 'reasonable'.   

Kennedy had  a saying -  if you make peaceful revolution impossible you make violent revolution inevitable.  The dems could have found a more peaceful way to address the issue in the 12 years where they were in power and it was front and center, or supported republican ideas to help address it when trump was in.  They did not.  Now a more 'forceful' approach is going to happen.

True, but the safety of "brown people" goes directly to Lemon's point. 

Lemon supports the policy of letting criminals out of jail without informing ICE, so instead of just grabbing unarmed criminals when they are getting out of jail, ICE has to go arrest those people in their homes, where children are present, after those criminals get access to guns and other weapons. 

Sure, the Dems want their cheap labour, and they want to drive up the rents in their slum housing, but that isn't a major cause of "danger to brown people", as Lemon would say.

For your information, it wasn't  a case of "the dems didn't do enough to fight illegal immigration", it was a case of "the dems did too much to encourage, facilitate and support illegal immigration".  

The Dems cut holes in the border walls, offered free cash, free food, free living quarters, and offered them full amnesty from border enforcement. 

It's like if the dems were fighting for America in the UFC, and they were caught squeezing the other fighter's hands against their own throat.
