Or maybe, you could just look at what is actually happening and be honest about it. 

leftist protestors have been engaged in attacking federal property and obstructing federal law enforcement as well as attacking federal law enforcement. 

Local authorities are not there protecting ICE property, keeping protestors from blocking the entrances and obstructing, so that leaves ICE/Federal Law Enforcement unable to do their jobs as they have to do crowd control instead. 

If this is the lawlessness leftist mayors and police forces are going to ignore, then you are damn straight Trump is going to send in the National Guard to protect federal property.
