I’m not against breaking the Canadian territory into more states per se but it would make more sense to combine the population center than to have 10 separate provinces become their own individual state. Maybe like western Canada, Toronto, Quebec and the maritime as four state. It’s a common misconception that Canada physical landmass is larger than America. It’s actually because of the large number of frozen lakes. Can’t build a house on that so it doesn’t count as land. America is number 1 in land mass technically. Yup...good thing enough voters stuck to our guns hereabouts and didn't vote Conservative or we could be stuck with a Liberal majority. Hopefully PP stays on giving Canadians some expectation they can go back to voting along more normal lines and in hope of more minority governments in the future.
