Goddess Posted 12 hours ago Report Posted 12 hours ago I'm sure it's just another one of those "coincidences" that Brookfield just created a new renewable energy company with Mitsubishi in a handful of countries, including FRANCE & IRELAND, just 2 days before Carney's trips to FRANCE & IRELAND. Every. Single. Time. Everywhere he goes - Brookfield has just been there or follows a few days later. Goddess Posted 11 hours ago Report Posted 11 hours ago Mexico likely saw this coming and that's why they've been diligently working on an agreement. Carney, for the last year, has been more interested in pouting. Reminder that some of the MOU's he signed, the agreement was contingent on Canada having access to US markets. https://x.com/ryangerritsen/status/2064775781012615263?s=20 Quote "There are two different types of people in the world - those who want to know and those who want to believe." ~~ Friedrich Nietzsche ~~

Carney could have taken an entirely different route over this last year while he’s been in office, but instead he told the world almost weekly that we don’t need the U.S. 🤔 Hmmmm. Carney never said that at all. AI could have told you that and then you could have corroborated that by checking your source to which my Fake News Debunker extension says... This X account has been mentioned in a lookup against: DBKFAccount: x.com/ryangerritsen It has been labelled as: present in DBKF (Data Base of Known Fakes) with the following comment: This source appears in 2 debunks by IFCN fact checkers For what its worth you could try fact checking yourself before posting crap but maybe there's an extension for debunking fact debunkers. He's said that our relationship and the previous order is 'ruptured' and we have to look elsewhere to 'middle' countries to fight back and that we need to diversify away from the us trade. CTV News has quoted him: Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has stated that the United States is "no longer a reliable partner" and that the old Canada-U.S. relationship—built on ever-closer economic integration and military collaboration—is over. This declaration followed the imposition of significant U.S. tariffs on Canadian goods, prompting a major shift in Canada's trade strategy. So the relationship is over. We don't need to deal with them. They're unreliable Ai notes: Canada's Strategic Pivot In response, the Canadian government has initiated a fundamental pivot to protect its economy: [1, 2] Mid-Level Alliances: Carney has actively championed alliances of mid-level economic powers to operate beyond U.S. protectionist policies. [1] New Trade Missions: The government has led a series of international trade missions (including to Asia and Japan) to diversify its markets, attract foreign investment, and reduce over-reliance on the American economy. [1] Addressing Vulnerabilities: Carney has publicly stated that Canada's heavy reliance on U.S. ties has become a "weakness" that must be corrected. Trade with the us has become a weakness that must be corrected. So he absolutely has expressed the idea that we have to move forward without the USA. That is a very reasonable paraphrase of what he's said. 1 hour ago, eyeball said: For what its worth you could try fact checking yourself before posting crap BWAAHHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! So do you mean do i want to know the thing i already proved? No, i already proved it Quote It's because he never said it. He said the same thing. Which you know And you're desperately trying to dodge the simple truth by pretending you're a lawyer. "YOUR HONOUR, TECHNICALLY MY CLIENT SAID WE DON'T "HAVE" NEED SO THEY"RE COMPLETELY LYING!!!! It's quite clear he's said that we can't trust the us, that relationship is ruptured and trading with them is a weakness we have to correct, he's saying we don't need them. His entire Davos speech was about how nobody needs the US and the middle powers should all band against US hegemony. He declared our relationship with the US - specifically economically & militarily - OVER. "We can give ourselves more than the US ever can." I know you like to play this game that he didn't say THOSE EXACT WORDS. That's why the words are in quotes in that post. But he most certainly said those exact words - in different words and the impression he wanted to give was clear. That's the standard for verbatim definitions and you people are sticking with it till your dying day.
