Shady Posted September 9, 2025 Report Posted September 9, 2025 Illegals are just doing the jobs that Americans don’t want to do right? Wrong. You don’t think Americans would want to work at Hyundai or other automotive companies? 500 arrested working at Hyundai illegally. If this results in other manufacturers thinking twice before setting up shop in America then good. I doubt the technicians they employ will be thrilled with the possibility they'll being detained and shackled by ICE while doing their jobs. Knowing too the way South Koreans like shaming their betters I expect Hyundai's corporate heads will be hanging following this. They really got to the bottom of the story Hence the showboat sense I felt about it. I recall when a number of South Korean technicians came to install machinery and then oversee surimi lines in local fish plants years ago. It was mostly a flash in the pan in the end. What little fish is left is just frozen whole, mostly at sea and shipped to Korea when it's landed. It's temporary work that makes full time work unfeasible hence the corporate/economic argument for bringing in TFW's. Perhaps Canadians would be happier if Ottawa just let South Korean factory boats fish in our waters out of sight out of mind, then we wouldn't need to bring in TFW's. That's how it was before things like Economic Exclusion Zones. Almost sounds woke, except for the exclusion part I guess. 1 Quote I said now watch what you say they'll be calling you a radical, a liberal, oh fanatical criminal

Nationalist Posted September 9, 2025 Report Posted September 9, 2025 Errr... "According to a Reuters report, Finance Minister Koo Yun-cheol said he was made aware that some experts may have traveled to the U.S. to assist with a test run of the electric car factory which was set to begin production in October ahead of obtaining the appropriate documentation." https://www.foxbusiness.com/fox-news-world/south-korea-minister-heads-us-amid-fallout-from-ice-hyundai-raid oh my! So the Libbies have once again jumped to the wrong conclusion out of desperation. Im shocked. Shocked I tell you. Libbies...just how many times will you wash your faces with eggs? "DC crime is down!" Wrong. "Trump is a pedophile!" Wrong. Look, you pack o' desperate losers, take your Mamdani, turn the global center for capitalism and turn it into a socialist rathole. Then...welcome to the mid-terms. Here... Have at 'er. Quote Its so lonely in m'saddle since m'horse died.

Im shocked. Shocked I tell you. My point is that it was hard to figure out what was going on. For example, the title of the thread would lead one to believe that the factory was operational. I thought that too when I heard the initial report. If you travel to the US for professional work, as I have, there are various visas that you are supposed to get. When you were asked at the border why you or visiting the US... Business or pleasure.... You say business. Then you explain generally what you're doing. If you have a Visa they tend to let you pass. At least they used to. But what you do when you get there can be a little fuzzy according to what the Visa is. You're doing training? Are you allowed to operate the machine training on? Generally, nobody checks. But if there is an ICE then that's a different thing. But I also don't think this is going to have an impact on the onshoring process for this factory or generally. After all, Hyundai is doing exactly what the US government wants them to do. Quote Looks like someone has a new patronizing catch phrase ! Michael Hardner

Its rather slanted and most articles read like a celebration of a Trump failure...that wasn't. A piece of advise...if I may be so bold... The Libbies seem to believe and respect you. Perhaps you want to try injecting some modicum of reason in them? Personally...I would like to watch them continue to flail about like fish out of water. But you have an affinity for their TDS state of being and they really are quickly becoming a public joke. Proceed as you will... Quote Its so lonely in m'saddle since m'horse died.

I'm sure it would be easy to cite sources, including the White House Press, that frames the story differently. The point is: we don't have to do that on here. We can go to primary sources, as well as the aforementioned sources and piece together something that makes more sense. 2. People can read into my methods what they will. This story covers two things: Immigration enforcement and jobs opening up for Americans. I don't know what kind of bullshit takeaway from this story you came up with, and I don't care. The only thing that matters is the two above points I just made. Quote

I think the construction workers who were busted would need to be replaced by Americans but the Koreans will likely be replaced by other Koreans, just with the right VISA. 3.
