The United States has long been a beacon of humanitarian protection.

Immigrants and refugees from all over the world come to the United States to seek safety, security, and a new life. However, decades of destructive policies, Congressional inaction, and pitting communities against each other have created heartbreaking human rights and humanitarian crises across the country, from small towns to big cities.

Today, we are witnessing cruelty at the border, raids in our communities, mass detention expansion including the detention of families with children, and President Trump’s mass deportations pushing our immigrant friends and neighbors to live in fear. These policies and practices have been catastrophic for immigrants and people seeking safety in communities across the United States.

Mass deportation is not only cruel and inhumane—it is also extraordinarily costly.

Right now, Congress is considering almost half a trillion dollars to advance President Trump’s harmful and xenophobic immigration policies, including border militarization and mass deportations that rip families and communities apart.

A Better Way: Respecting the Human Rights of Immigrants and People Seeking Safety in the United States  | Amnesty International USA

quote   International Detention Coalition (IDC) expresses its profound concern regarding the mass expulsions and forced disappearance of migrants from the United States to their detention in highly alarming conditions in nearby third countries, notably El Salvador, Panama and Costa Rica. These actions, driven by the current U.S. administration’s expansion of immigration enforcement beyond its borders, have exposed the gravity of risk to life, liberty, and mental and physical integrity of people on the move inherent in such policies.

As U.S. immigration detention and deportation practices have escalated since January 2025, they have been accompanied by a rhetoric of criminalisation, the flagrant disregard of due process guarantees and consequent forced disappearance of documented and undocumented migrants in the country. As of April 6th 2025, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) reported holding 47,928 individuals in immigration detention – a number approaching its maximum capacity of 54,500. Nearly half of those detained have no criminal record, while many others have only minor infractions such as traffic violations.

This is in sharp contrast to what the Bible says.

“The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.” – Leviticus 19:34

This verse emphasizes the importance of treating foreigners with the same love and respect as our own family. It serves as a reminder of our shared humanity and the compassion we should extend to others.

And we do that by letting them go back to their own countries free of charge. This is a merit based immigration system not open border nonsense.

The only cruelty going on here is how you endlessly spam this forum with copy/paste, restarting the same threads over and over again when you are not able to engage in the threads you already started to defend your nonsense.

Compassion is granting ASYLUM to escape horrendous persecution by GANGS.

Don't expect you to EVER understand that, pure evil.

Those with legitimate asylum claims get asylum and/or those with legitimate fears of their home country will be deported to a different country.

You know there wouldn’t be that many Drug addicts if you just gave them jobs that the illegal stole right? Idle hands are the devil's playground. The corporations lied to you my friend. Trump is here to set you free.

But thanks to negligence and a deep hatred for this country, the democrats have made it next to impossible for the US to be a "beacon of humanitarian protection", as now we've been shoved into survival mode.

Dude...are you a priest or something?

How sopping wet can you be? Like...were you asleep in history classes? Do you realize that deportation is not uncommon? Hell even mass deportations by Obama. Did you slobber all over that? Pro'ly not eh?

If you are this worked up by this...correction...take in 10 or so yourself. You can try to sponsor them and keep them safe and warm.

Despite @robosmith trying to derail another thread, let's not forget what deportations stop

  • Women/girls raped during border crossing
  • Deaths by dehydration, snake bites, drowning, heat exhaustion in the back of a semi, shot by cartels, etc
  • Men/boys forced into drug trade, becoming mules or selling on the corners
  • Women/girls being sold into sex slavery
  • Forced labor in sweatshops
  • Homelessness
  • Rampant crime (gangs call illegal aliens ATMs because they always have cash)
  • Fentanyl deaths of americans and illegal aliens alike

The point is, deportation might not be pretty, but it has dramatically lowered the encounters at the southern border. That means all those things I listed above are down as well. So what is more humanitarian? Allowing all the above or stopping it?

Don't you think that if I were wrong that I would know it?

Hold on now.

His claim is that trump is the biggest liar to ever occupy the white house.

This may be true, at least in recent times... Obama didn't lie, he forced the intelligence and security communities to lie FOR him. He made everyone AROUND him lie like crazy, so he's out.

Biden didn't lie, biden said whatever the teleprompter said without thought.  Lying requires intent to decieve.  The people lying were the ones who said he was mentally competent.  But he just said what he was told without a thought in his head So he's out. Can't lie without a brain.

So maybe he's got a bit of a point, but its probably not as good a point as he was hoping :)
