It's a beautiful day! Not a sign of man-made climate change in sight! ;)

I'll assume then that you're not located where fires are burning.   Enjoy the day outside... just be safe and make sure the helmet is on tightly 👍

Oh, that's right. You're blaming man-made pollution for the fires. lol

Nobody disputes that. It's your reaction that's disputed.

Trashing our current source of energy and driving the cost of everything up as a result, is the act of an authoritarian twit.

Actually, a lot of people still dispute it.

Not sure where I said that...   Did your helmet go on too tight?

Ok some do.

But again, it's the solutions tried that are unacceptable.

Apparently neither have your government agencies...who are funded by tax payer money and thus rely on keeping the population scared enough to keep funding them.

Nice try Hypocrite.

^NO EVIDENCE to support YOUR FANTASIES.

IN FACT there are (or were) plenty of EPA experts on climate change, YOUR DENIAL notwithstanding. Duh

Now is when you admit you were WRONG AGAIN. LMAO

EPA's Climate Change Research seeks to improve our understanding of how climate change impacts human health and the environment.

No, I don't understand that idea.  Man-made climate change is unequivocal.

Only in your slanted heads.

You woketards really need to release the activism and go enjoy your lives.

It is your defense of PROVEN pollution when there are cheaper alternatives, that make YOU THE TWIT.

Enjoy your unprecedented wildfires burning your forests to the ground.

While no European nation is fully powered by 100% renewable energy sources around the clock, some have achieved this feat for short periods, and several are making significant strides toward decarbonization. Albania is notable for its heavy reliance on hydropower, which provides nearly all of its electricity. Countries like Germany and Portugal have demonstrated the ability to run on 100% renewable energy (wind, water, and solar) for short durations according to Euronews.com.

Here's a more detailed look:
100% Renewable for Short Periods:
  • .
Has demonstrated the capability to run entirely on renewable energy (wind, water, and solar) for short periods reports Euronews.com.
  • .
Similar to Germany, Portugal has also achieved 100% renewable energy for brief periods.

Countries with High Renewable Energy Usage:
  •
    .
Relies heavily on hydropower, achieving a very high percentage of electricity from renewable sources.

  • image.png.cb7d31732ce93cda187fc56f53fe20e2.png
    .
Leads among EU countries in the share of renewable energy, with a large portion coming from biomass, hydropower, and wind.

  • image.png.65e39cb3a29cae364d6589e988c4f73e.png
    .
A high percentage of its energy consumption comes from renewable sources.

    .
Has set ambitious goals for phasing out coal and gas and transitioning to renewables.

Factors Influencing Renewable Energy Adoption:
  • Hydropower:
Countries with abundant rivers and water resources, like Albania, are well-positioned to utilize hydropower.

  • Wind and Solar:
These sources are becoming increasingly important, with many European nations investing heavily in wind and solar farms.

  • Renewable Energy Targets:
The EU has set a target of 42.5% renewable energy by 2030, with some countries aiming for even higher percentages.

  • Challenges:
Renewable energy adoption faces challenges such as the need for energy storage solutions, weather dependency, and the complexity of permitting for new projects.

Overall, while a fully 100% renewable-powered Europe is still a work in progress, many nations are making substantial progress towards decarbonizing their energy systems, with some achieving impressive milestones.

Hey, you find a cheaper way to keep America moving just as fast, and it will love you, not hate you, like it hates you now.

Dude...Germany has fired up old coal generators.

Please try to be serious.

^NO EVIDENCE as USUAL so you're NOT SERIOUS.

Temporary reliance on coal after shutting down nuke plants does not mean they're not vigorously pursuing renewables. Duh

Why is Germany restarting coal plants?

In a bid to avert gas shortages due to the energy crisis fueled by Russia's war on Ukraine, Germany temporarily reopened some recently decommissioned and other soon-to-be decommissioned coal power plants in 2022 and 2023.Apr 2, 2024

LMAO

I understand that taking action on climate change in a country with a substantial fossil fuel industry, including in my own province, is a complex and contentious matter. However, we should be able to at least agree on the science of man-made global warming which is the topic under discussion in this thread.

Look...no amount of agreement is gonna change the fact that driving up all costs in a mad panic is a bad solution.
