We folks? My family and I were vaxed...twice. I caught The Rona before having to get vaxed for my job, and was laid up for 1 day. My niece caught it the same time and was laid up for a week. The point being, one's immune system has a lot to do with the effect on one.

Then there's the fudged death toll. We found out the medical profession was counting a death as a "covid death" if a person got hit by a truck and died, but had The Rona.

Then we learned that by Spring of '22, most Rona deaths were among the vaxed. 

There was so much crap being fed people that it was and is impossible to say anything for sure. If they would simply just tell the truth, maybe that bullshit filter would have been less of an issue. But they didn't and still dont. And that's the main problem.

We never get the plain truth.

2. I'm not trying to say they are perfect, or excellent, or even adequate.  My biggest complaint about Canada is the way we are dealt information and how easily we accept it, just like you say.

But the answer isn't to flee institutions and replace them with unknown quantities that have no oversight, just because you like what they're saying.

NP...It did look grim for Kiev at first. I find the whole timing of Russia's withdrawal just as the original peace deal was being negotiated, rather suspicious. But...only the Russians know for sure. Fact is, a month later everyone in institutional positions, changed their tune drastically.
