The baconally challenged f-wits on both sides of the conflict in the middle east are perfect examples of how religion can rot the hive mind to a greater extent than anything else on this planet.

Most religions in the world are false and that is why they have big problems.

The middle east is full of false religionists which is what you are speaking about and they don't believe the Bible.  There may be a small number of Bible believing Christians in the middle east as there are in many places, but they don't cause the troubles.  We shouldn't generalize about all religions.  There is a world of difference in beliefs between Bible believers and false religionists.  It requires some study to understand the different beliefs.

The situation in the middle east is another subject.

A 'middleman' isn't needed to be in touch with the creator . . .

Organized religion is not a 'middleman'

It is a community of believers.

And I'm the only guy on the internet with a 20" dick.

If the Cultist Narrative Network/Cultist Broadcasting Corporation gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

Canadians in general are not well-educated about a lot of important events in history.

Ignorance is not bliss.  There is a price to be paid for not knowing about the past.  There are many things in history that are important to understand.  If we don't understand it, we are more likely to make the same or similar mistakes in the future.

...

Agreed.

More Canadians died on the beach in Dieppe than in an Air India plane.

How many Newfoundlanders died at Beaumont-Hamel?

What's the difference?

When is a combat zone and one is innocent civilians who were slaughtered by an act of violence

Are you honestly telling us that you can't tell the difference between a soldier and a declared conflict dying in battle and somebody attacking and killing innocent women and children without warning or remorse?

You can't fathom the difference? You need that to be explained to you? In your mind it is perfectly acceptable to kill civilians the same as it's okay to fight back in a war?

What the actual F dude?

CdnFox,

Apparently, you can't.

I can.

America has sophisticated B-2 bombers that can fly across the world to put bombs precisely below the ground.

Wars are fought by young men. Years ago, I taught abroad. I looked at these young men.

America no longer has such young men.

America? China? German? Prussian? Japan?

Russia. I remember looking at these kids, young men. And thinking that if I had to go into battle, I could not hope for a better group.

In the 1940s, Jimmy Stewart had such a group.

But you couldn't. And you didn't. You literally had to ask what the difference was

I reckon that Putin and Xi know this.

Heck, imagine Truman at Potsdam. "I have a trump card. I bombed twice."

I work with some 20+ yr old kids. I brought up the FLQ. They had no idea what I was talking about. Great education system we have.

I was in Montreal at the time going through school.

But onto the above comment you made that I bolded, I have to laugh when a Canadian on YouTube who is pulling his suspenders out in pride states that "we have the best education system in the world" amongst other silly statements that he made such as "we have the best healthcare system in the world". Obviously a Liberal living in Fantasy Land.

You know when you are trying to show your "pride", at least get your facts straight because it is quite obvious to me that that that person never travelled outside of Canada. I have to several countries.
