So when carney drops tariffs, it's wise and prudent. But when smith does it she's "Not a team player" LOL if you didn't have dishonesty you wouldn't have any honesty at all 2 2 Quote There are two types of people in this world: Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data
Army Guy Posted Saturday at 11:30 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:30 PM It's not just Alberta , its every Canadian....Canadians are still crossing the border by the millions and spending their money in the US....Shit China has tariffs on Canada as well see any one boycotting chinese products...see the Liberals putting counter tariffs on, or sending a trade delegation down there to talk.... If it has got Alberta in the headlines it is going to make liberals' scream.... 4 1 Quote We, the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. If it has got Alberta in the headlines it is going to make liberals' scream.... I don't think it was just the tariffs at all. I think if he had just slap some tariffs on it would have annoyed people but it wouldn't have been that big a deal. I think it was calling Trudeau governor, which even if you hate trudeau you don't get to make fun of the office of the Prime Minister, as well as the whole 51st state thing. And then saying he was going to terrify us to the point where we had no choice but to cave and do what he wished. That's what push people over the edge, but unfortunately most Canadians have the attention span of a goldfish that smokes a lot of weed 1 1 Quote There are two types of people in this world: Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data

Nationalist Posted Sunday at 07:49 PM Report Posted Sunday at 07:49 PM Hilarious. The "Elbows Up" thing lasted just long enough to hand the carney a minority government. Now Canadians are buying whatever they want, regardless of the nation of origin. Of course...Flyer and the gaggle of silly Libbies wanna make it all about Alberta. But then again...when's the last time a Libbie told the truth? 2 1 Quote Its so lonely in m'saddle since m'horse died.

herbie Posted Sunday at 10:15 PM Report Posted Sunday at 10:15 PM Yes there's a massive campaign by American trolls and their suckhole supporters than we're all Danielles at heart and ready to abandon all efforts and bend the knee to the Orange Overlord. An older tourist from Arizona came into the coffee shop yesterday and some of the guys invited him to join them. He immediately launched into apologies about Trump's f*cking over Canada. Even after they told him we're not mad at the American people, he apologized that the people elected him One of the guys told him Hey! We're the Canadians, we're supposed to be the ones that say Sorry too much. The guy was on the way to the Alaska ferry. He'd done the Alaska Highway before, but people had raved about this route's land and water scenery. Quote

Sooooo... yeah And yes, getting rid of the most hated prime minister in the history of canada did, perhaps not surprisingly, improve people's opinion of the gov't Right now we're in the honeymoon stage, it summer, there's not much going on, and people are losing their fear of trump and carney is still promising the moon without having to deliver anything yet. And he can hide his lies by not putting out a budget. But that won't last long. He'll have no excuse next year and the ndp will have a leader and people will be willing to go to the polls over it if necessary. And it will become apperent that he's not delivering on anything Which is fine. We'll wait Do you think you'll have stopped crying by then? 2 Quote There are two types of people in this world: Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data
